guys, help me out please.. I'm running windows xp pro with centrino chip. when i originally had norton 2004 everything ran quick.... then I was forced to upgrade to 2006 or 2007 (dont remember) anyways, the computer then ran dead slow....I got so fed up that I uninstalled all and went to mcafee. this was better but only marginally.....I have since removed it too. is there an antivirus you guys know of that will work and not slow my system down? thx
I like avast better than AVG. Both are good, avg last summer forced too many restarts, every other day.
Trend Micro is also pretty good. It does not bog down your system like Norton/Symantec/McAfee. - Greg B.
