BOX OFFICE: D'SOUZA'S '2016' PASSES MICHAEL MOORE'S 'CAPITALISM' IN RECORD BOOKS

Last weekend’s surprise 2016 Obama’s America (expanding into 1,750 theaters starting its 8th week in release) continues being helped by the Republican National Convention. The conservative political documentary should come in #5 with $1.6M today.

By Monday’s end, pic will be the 5th biggest grossing political documentary, besting the $14.3M for Michael Moore’s Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) not adjusted for inflation or higher ticket prices. 2016 Obama’s America is produced by Gerald R. Molen who credits “learning some lessons” from Moore. “When he released Fahrenheit 9/11 in 2004 ahead of the election, it sparked intense debate.” ...

Max, that can't be right. I'm going to have to wait till Chris Mathews confirms this. He will let me know. I know he will. He will tell me first thing on Monday on top of his show if this is true. He really will. I'm waiting for him. :)

I dont know if you picked up on this as well, but Matthews appears to have gone right off the edge in recent days, i think it was very clear right from the start of the RNC convention Matthews felt he had a roll to play in taking conservatives down a peg, watching his show over the last few days has been nothing but unwarranted accusations of racism, and all kinds of other crazy shit, i think he really saw this as his chance to get back at Bachmann, and he just ended up being humiliated the whole time he was down there after his ridiculous comments to Priebus.
All of MSNBC was playing the same game, right after every single speech they would go on and on about how bad it was, and it was like, "were we ever expecting you to say something positive?"

I still think the most egregious exampple of phony cries of racism over the last few days was when Lawrence O'Donnell accused mitch mcconnell of being a racist for saying obama plays so much golf he should be on the PGA...... Cause Golf is such a black sport....... O'Donnells justification was that mcconnell was trying to compare Obama to tiger woods, so i guess, being compared to the best golfer ever is now racist..... LOL.....

Apparently Chris Mathews has added Chicago to the list of "code words" for racism. So whatever you do Max, do not say Chicago!!!! EVER!!!!!! You will be branded a racist for life.

Honestly man, 100 years from now people will look back on the fallen network that will be MSNBC and just shake their head at how they led the news every night and every show with cries of racism. I've never seen anything like it.

LOL, ok you might have me, Chicago might take the cake...... There was one time when Andrea Mitchell was interviewing condoleeza rice, and out of nowhere, Matthews just chimed in to ask Andrea to ask condoleeza what she thought of the whole birther movement and if its about racism..... it had nothing to even do with the conversation, and Matthews interrupted her interview to ask about it......

LOL, here it is, WTF was this all about?!? condi's speech a rejoinder to the birther party? He just wanted to take a shot at Condi about racism, and its so incredibly obvious.....

Honestly, maybe he has Tourette's Syndrome. Where he just shouts out racism uncontrollably at random times. I saw that interview with Rice. It was embarrassing on his part and Andrea's part. Did you see how mean she looked when she was interviewing Rice?

Yeah the whole thing was mind boggling to watch everyone from MSNBC had a clear agenda to take people down a peg, and we arent just talking about biased journalism, we are talking like Full on Hannity style, where the interviews are never about asking questions, but making statements, they all went into full on attack mode. you expect that kind of garbage from Matthews, sharpton and Schultz, but the whole network did the exact same thing, Maddow called Christies speech the most selfish act she had ever seen two seconds after it was done.

Most of CNN was acting the same way too....

I wonder how many interviews someone like Hannity will get next week at the DNC convention.....
