  1. Spydie, we haven't had Jack mentor anyone here for our astonishment since Nwbprop went back to cutting grass. Do you suppose you could coax him out of retirement to coach you?
If you're wondering why I am posting and not trading, the alpha-filtered NQ volume is below 350 cars/minute. This is my way od distracting myself to stay out of temptation's way.

  2. Doug, thanks for previewing Koolaid for us. But take my advice and NEVER explain it. No proper guru will ever explain himself. Opens you up to rational debate. Nor will I explain my trade, other than to say it captured 68% of a breakout bar. And, per usual, used NO Jack principles.

BTW, these 2000 car minutes in the middle of tight midday consolidations are TOTALLY fucking up my volume analyses.

  3. Do you think The Street has its Bloombergs programmed to watch for my trades yet?

Please understand my perspective. I have E-Signal coded to sing a rising warble (Warning.wav) for long block trades over 100, and to do a Hillary (Glassbrk.wav) for shorts. So I laugh my ass off mid-day when Bill says "I'm getting it up!" and Hillary smashes another plate to say "No you're not!" They may not be watching ME, but I'm watching THEM, hahahaha!

I used to think it was computers, but honest to god now I think it's big egos throwing those multihundred cars in different directions. Shades of Livermore shorting cotton!

  4. Evidently, you missed Nwbprop's recent clarification. In addition, Jack hasn't retired. He simply decided to take a hiatus from posting to the Elitetrader.com web site.

  5. Some of your logic does not compute Spydie. On the one hand you claim that Trader666 is fugged because Hershology only applies to specific stocks the list of which regularly changes. And on the other hand you claim Hershology is applicable to the ES futures which are totally different from stocks and presumably never changes.

  6. Nice try, Chicken.

Setups. You know. Flags. Pennants. Cup and Handle, Lateral Channel Breakout on higher volume. I wasn't aware those things fell into the 'Hershology' definition. If my statements cause you confusion, ask me to clarify. No need to jump to conclusions and misrepresent my words.

  7. Hypo, you have lost control of your thread, if indeed you ever had it. Open a barroom and the brawlers will come.

But on a strategick note, and in the vein (vain?) of "Is he serious?", I offer the attachment, proving that it is wise to trade NQ when it is trading contrary to oil, as was the case from 8:30 to 9:30 PT this morning.

And I hope you find work again soon. You are making a mockery of ET. Trust me, it can get along fine without you in that regard.

  9. Spyder (do you have a real Christian, or even raghead, name we can call you by, it seems somewhat disrespectful to call you Spydie), if you are going to be Jack's alter ego hear, let's do it right. Follow Jack's publications and posts to the letter, clearly elucidate each rule, and discuss each one. I will immoderate my immoderate crew. Best regards, Mike.

  10. Those of you who despise this thread (but read it avidly anyway) don't have long to wait for its demise. Over the years of posting nonsense I have developed metrics based on how often my attachments are looked at. As of this posting, my first attachment, a joke trade to make a point, has been downloaded 661 times (will it make it to 666?). As thread death approaches, only my hard core of admirers and detractors (it is hard to tell them apart) looks at attachments which clearly are mine (they know which is which). That is about 40 readers (at least, I THINK they can read, maybe they just look at the pictures). Eventually, even they tire of my foolish drivel and no one looks at my attachments any more but me (I do SUCH a good job with the JPEG compression, I have to admire my work often). My deadly serious trade today drew only 16 lookers. So...thread death approaches. It definitively occurs when no one notices that I am no longer posting, but they rant on anyway. Enjoy.
