  1. Thank you so much for asking! I do so love to entertain ET. When I am finished, the only question you will have is, "Did he REALLY enter a trade using that convolutedly coruscated circuitous logic?".

From 10:26 to 10:36ET NQ made a ragged move from a double bottom back to the open. At 11:38 somebody's computer hit it with a 294 car sell (for NQ this is an out-there size, rarely does anybody trade more than 500). I don't really understand such things, because I only use my computer to watch porn. But, hey, they can afford to trade that many cars, so they cain't be wrong, right?

At approximately 10:41 my ass started to wiggle involuntarily in my ergonomically incorrect computer chair, smelling a short mini-avalanche (don't ask me how my ass can smell, please) and, just like Jack says to do, I "hit T". Thirty-one seconds later, after anxiously reviewing the dubious reasons for making the trade, I punched out, amazed that I hadn't lost the shirt I wasn't wearing. After the fact, I see many other reasons why this was a smart trade. One of them is that when Miss Price is close to Mr. Vee Wop, she can't resist touching him, slutty little nympho that she is, and that bar went straight down from the open to the VWAP. I'm sure that if I had a Jack screen up, I could have identified 17 of his 34 indicators that would have screamed SHORT (the other 17 would have screamed LONG).

Just another adventure in tape-reading. (I actually have software that I created that makes T&S look like a tape, complete with holes, regurgitating paper, and clacking noises. I am so old that I need that presentation to follow market action.)

  6. Bitstream. Yes, somehow I got my TWS screwed up and it won't show a buy button? Or maybe is that blue thingy for buy? If so, shouldn't it be green? I mean, I don't want to feel blue when I buy.

Also, I have trouble interpreting the meaning of large computer trades, whether they want to make or lose money by placing them. I get so confused by the difference between arbitron and wedging.

There was also the hilarious incident in NQ at 1:16 ET when the computers tried to force a consolidation breakout with a rapid fire sequence of hundreds, and had to slink out in the same one-minute bar 50 at a time. Never saw anything like it before, but then, I don't get around much, what with the Parkinson's and all.

  7. 666. Indeed I did. My brilliance comes in flashes like that. It comes from a long and intense study of Jack. I even have waking fantasies about Liz sometimes. Or the llamas. Or all three. One llama whispers "buy" in one ear, and the other one nibbles my other ear for "sell". And Liz keeps me calm in that long stretch of stark terror in between. The 31 seconds today was a record of endurance for me. I was so proud of myself.

  8. Since you all appreciated my Anti-Jack trade so much, I will grace you with my NAZDOIL study, the source of many a wisely untaken trade. I have found that if this system calls a trade, and I do the opposite, I always make money. Now, you may find it strange that I do not simply invert the study, but I have found in backtesting that it is impossible to reverse a negative expectancy system to make it profitable, so I don't tempt fate. BTW, beware, this method is flavor-sensitive. It will not work with Brent or West Texas, only Sweet Light.

  9. When I read the title to this thread on ET's Home page, I thought it was a new anti-theft system for high end cars that traders owned.

    only to discover....

This was just another ET thread.....Why isn't this in chat yet?

  10. Because, Potato Head, we are discussing esoteric and exoteric trading methods here. I notice that you did not condescend even to seriously analyze my example trade, much less comment on my highly original NAZDOIL method, which is all about knowing under what conditions it works, and under what conditions it doesn't, and doing the apposite. I am also hoping to lure Jack back into the fray, whose absence these many long days and nights has made ET a vaster wasteland than usual. But that is what ET does best, frivolously attack those who freely dispense their trading knowlege and worship those who keep their methods to themselves, claiming sucess without proof. I made $20 today. Had you been my disciple, with your enormous trading account, you could have achieved retirement in 31 seconds.
