The event [in Concord, New Hampshire] had people supporting the Mayors Against Illegal Guns movement, founded by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, reading the names of those âkilled with gunsâ since the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary outside their âNo More Namesâ bus⦠Some of the loudest shouts came when a reader spoke the name of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects who was killed by police during a gunfight. âHeâs a terrorist,â several protesters shouted. Tamerlan himself usually avoided using guns when murdering people, of course. He blew some of them up at the marathon and allegedly slit the throats of three others a few years ago. I guess they figured he deserved mention because his hands are sort of âclean.â Seriously, do these cretins mean to imply that cops shouldnât have guns? Bloombergâs police force in NYC is so heavily armed that theyâre supposedly capable of shooting down a plane in a pinch. Iâm guessing that means Bloomy himself is a ânoâ on that question, although I canât be sure: The hypocrisy of wealthy/privileged liberals in calling for the population to be disarmed while their own security teams remain armed to the teeth is legendary. As of this writing, the Mayors Against Illegal Guns website says 6,170 Americans have been murdered by people using guns since Newtown; I canât believe I have to ask this, but does that list include criminals â or terrorists â killed by police in an exchange of gunfire? I canât believe I have to ask this either but I guess I do. Was the name of Sean Collier, the MIT police officer ambushed and murdered by the Tsarnaevs because they wanted his gun, also read at the Concord rally? BLOOMBERG'S GUN CONTROL GROUP ALSO LISTS COP KILLERS AS VICTIMS Although Mayor Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) has apologized for listing Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev as a victim of gun violence at their Concord, NH rally on June 18, it is now apparent that the "list of names" was pregnant with criminals and cop killers as well. In fact, the New Hampshire Republican State Committee is pointing out the list also included Christopher Dorner, the former Los Angeles police officer who went on a killing spree before finally dying in a fire after a gun fight with police. Dorner killed two police officers. The name of Kevin Bailey was also read in Concord at the gun control rally. Bailey died in a shootout after exiting his car in Solon, OH and opening fire on police. Rally organizers also read the name of Kurt Myers, a 64-year old man who was killed by police after he fired on them. The police were searching for Myers on suspicion that he had killed four people.
