I am amazed to such a reaction regarding trading being simple. On the other I do remember, I would be very unhappy to hear that when losing money, early in the career. maybe it is better to repeat that the idea is to avoid over complicating. this is what we mean by keeping it simple. sure, understand makes things look simpler. it's a good point. oddly enough, I know several fellow traders who simplified their trading and the first reflex is to make it complex again (and affecting efficiency!). I may fall in this trap from time to time too. while I read the strong reactions to calls about simplification, I do note that money making traders and firms are often using very simple methods. that's a fact. why is that ? it should tell something to struggling individual traders. that's all I am saying. tntneo

I suppose it is in accord with the human condition... If they are not making money it is only natural for them to think the game complex... If not they would have to look at themselves and that is often something not many of us are willing to do! If they want to continue to trade in the state of illusion FINE, I will just keep taking their money employing the "simplest" of methods...
if you want to experience true simplicity, go out to the sahara and spend some time with the bushmen. wipe your butt with a leaf and brush your teeth with a root for six months. then you'll know all about simplicity p.s. if you got bored, you could set up a literal trading pit. do some arbitrage on sticks and rocks. hey what am I bid on this yam?
