Another use of MACD.

    Which time frame is it? There are not too
    many tarding opp. for the intra day trader
    seemingly.

  4. i haven't got the chance to test it thoroughly but by plotting it on a 5 times higher timeframe than the one you are using you should at least get an idea when it's ok to take a trade (MACD (1,X,1) is close to 0 line) and when the market is unlikely to continue (MACD(1,X,1) shows an over/under valued market) and maybe fade the trend (i do not reccomend going countertrend ever).

    It seems as if you only needed one opportunity on 10/23. 1029 CV chart with 9 and 18 SMA, 1,24,1 MACD settings. The 38 line seems to be the magic number for this configuration. Thanks for the fresh idea alex.

    .... i am now using macd 1,1,26 as an extremity indicator for rsi ...

    I like this idea, I've been watching it and it seems pretty accurate.

    Question's (?).

    What are your settings to the Keltner Channel?

    And are you using all three SMA's.

  9. use 3, 10, 1 with linear MA.. should tell u when to enter for each candle..

    Assume you are talking about the MAC -
    not the Keltner Channel?
