when i owned a trucking company we used to haul tomatoes out of california. they go on the truck green and depending on the length of the haul(usually 2000 miles)the trailer temp would be adjusted so they would just ripen in about the 36 hours it took to make the trip. they do turn red but they arent ripe. thats why they have no flavor.
Cross breed is not quite the same. Basically Farmer selection verse Cargill or ADM scientist selection.
Did you ever have to pump carbon monoxide into the trailers? Huge problem of the food coming from south of the border and cali.
I think the problem is that the study was: 1. Not long enough, a lot of published studies show that is take longer then the studies time frame to correct the the inflammation and subsequent health problems caused by the o6/o3 ratios imbalance. 2. Gives no mention as to the type of Omega-3. When all is said and done its going to be about DHA and EPA not ALA. I am very suspect of plant based DHA. If you want me to elaborate I will. 3. Gives off the vibe of that egg, and organic study, where a conclusion was drawn just for the sake of drawing a conclusion and getting headlines. 4. No real mention of a decrease of rancid seed oils o-6. If I take an o-3 and that pushes my ratios from 25/1 to 22/1, that isnt going to matter.
i agree with most of this, just saying one study does not make this true for this supplement. i do not use this pill myself. i eat a lot of salmon!!
Knowing freethinkers posts from the P&R forum , there's no way I'm giving him any credibility for dispensing health related advice.
Here is another advantage of fish oil, if you like to be regular. It oils up your inside system so well, that you will have no problem of going to the bathroom.' If you have constipation, just add turmeric, and you will be unplugged, or so I heard.
you wont need that if you eat lots of plant based fiber. fiber is a very important thing in our diet and americans get very little because of this: " Less than 1% of adolescents, roughly 2% of men, and only 3.5% of ostensibly more sensible women met guidelines for both fruits and vegetables. And this is despite counting jam, jelly, and orange juice as fruit, and both French fries, and the ketchup poured over them, as vegetables. In fact, orange juice was the dominant fruit choice, and potatoes the dominant vegetable across all demographics."
