I believe its illegal for a 14 year old to own a gun It seems that your only solution is to remove guns from society
Another method would be a national database, with every citizen in it from birth, where the slightest sign of deviance that could one day "prove" that person was gonna go nuts. Any entries on you, in that database, and no guns for you. We would do this to preserve our liberty, especially to own guns.
In several cases the FBI had strong red flags.....The issue is how the authorities handle once they know Suspect interviewed about threats before Georgia high school shooting: FBI In your system someone needs to make a final decision. A 12 year old in a alcoholic household goes to counseling....Should that be public info? should the school be aware of this child? Should a future employer be aware of this students counseling If you do take away his 2nd amendment rights...Is it for life?
There's no solution in extremism. How about when some lunatic kid starts making threats and the feds are notified and interview said lunatic kid, maybe they fucking do some follow-up. Maybe require some mandatory counseling. Maybe take a hard look at the parents. Maybe tell the parents, your crazy kid goes off, you're going down too. And maybe rather than confusing kids as early as possible, drugging them as early as possible, encouraging delusional thinking as early as possible, perhaps we just get back to basic teaching in schools rather than the continuing mind fuck to push a political narrative.
News is dear old dad has been arrested, multiple charges. This dope bought his crazy kid a rifle for Christmas after being interviewed by the cops last May for the on line threats junior was making. Lock him up, throw away the key. Junior needs to be thoroughly interagated for any possible useful info and then executed immediately after his guilty verdict.
More info... The father of the suspect has been arrested and charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter and cruelty to children, the authorities said. The arrest came after new details emerged about the boy’s interest in previous massacres, an investigation into online threats, and his father’s ownership of several guns — including a military-style rifle like the one used in the attack. This father fully enabled this event and is responsible for the deaths and injuries. It is a classic example of bad parenting. "Two family members told The New York Times that the youth, who has been charged with four counts of felony murder, had a troubled home life. “My grandson did what he did because of the environment that he lived in,” said his grandfather, Charles Polhamus. An aunt, Annie Brown, texted: “The adults in his life let him down.”"
