The story of the failures of the Uvalde police just gets worse and worse. They deliberately held back the federal CBP assault team. Apparently the federal CBP tactical team arrived earlier than disclosed but were held back. To the point where the federal agents appear to finally had enough and said f@ck it and took the initiative to storm the classroom. Tactical team prevented from entering school earlier by local Uvalde police: report Border Patrol agents reportedly 'did not understand' why they were being held back https://www.foxnews.com/us/tactical-team-prevented-from-entering-school-earlier The tactical team that killed Uvalde school shooter Salvador Ramos reportedly arrived at the school earlier than was previously known and was delayed in entering the building Ramos was barricaded inside. Two officials briefed on the situation told the New York Times that specialized Border Patrol agents arrived at Robb Elementary School between 12 p.m. and 12:10 p.m. which is roughly 30 minutes earlier than previously thought. Additionally, the officials say that the Uvalde Police Department held the Border Patrol agents back from going inside. The Times reported that the agents "did not understand why they were left to wait." What happened in the 90 minutes between when the first 911 call of an armed individual with a gun walking toward the school was placed at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and the moment when officers shot and killed Ramos has fueled mounting public anger and scrutiny over law enforcement’s response to the rampage. "They say they rushed in," said Javier Cazares, whose fourth-grade daughter, Jacklyn Cazares, was killed in the attack, and who raced to the school as the massacre unfolded. "We didn’t see that." On Thursday, authorities largely ignored questions about why officers had not been able to stop the shooter sooner, with Escalon telling reporters he had "taken all those questions into consideration" and would offer updates later. On Friday, Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw said in response to a question about the New York Times report that officers waited to enter the classroom because they believed they were dealing with a barricaded suspect situation rather than an active shooter situation where children inside the classroom were at risk. "In hindsight, of course it was the wrong decision," McCraw said about not entering the building sooner. The Texas Department of Public Safety did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
They also told a few sponsors (gun makers) that were going to attend...not to come because the sponsors went on social media right after the mass shooting... The sponsor showed pictures of children (a toddler) with an assault weapon in his lap. I guess they need to get the next generation of gun owners ready to shoot people. Advertise to them now. I think one of the sponsors that did that was "Daniel ???". It was the typical tasteless defiance by showing their children or the children of others proudly exercising their right to own guns. The sponsors of NRA and several Republicans put money, and election votes above the lives of children and they all have done the exact same tasteless picture posting on social media after "each and every" mass shooting we've had since social media was created. It's madness. Other countries ban these types of idiots and don't allow them to enter their country to put sales above life. Ironically, the same idiots are strong supporters of creating anti-abortion laws to help the same Republicans get re-elected. wrbtrader
NRA does not care, only worried about too much heat but they probably agree with the sponsor's message whole heartedly... Every kid should have AR15s walking around as soon as they are strong enough to lift one I bet..
I just don't like their "tasteless advertising"...using either pictures of their children or children of others to promote owning assault weapons or just any guns within days after a mass shootings just to spike interest for their weapons. It's fucked up in the United States when they have these idiots using social media to do their evil advertising... Then people seem shocked when children or teenagers get on social media to make threats to shoot others, shoot schools, or just to make threats by subtle advertising when they show off by proudly posting their "assault weapons" in pictures that they can cause mass casualty if they wanted. Then social media platforms start yelling their users have the right to free speech online. Threats to harm others are NOT free speech. wrbtrader
Working against you guys are; Gun lobbysts. NRA / gun sales TV / media glorifying violence The public who pay because they enjoy being entertained by violence and guns. The church / evangelicals who deliberately stoke fear, end times, Armageddon, civil war. I'm afraid you guys are pushing shit uphill.
There were 19 police officers waiting in the hallway. Also, a tactical team from DHS was called upon but, police would not allow them to breach the classroom. A sheriff said the police was scared to barge into the classroom but, they would not allow the tactical team from DHS who is fully armed and equipped to even try? They should fire that police chief. Some kids could have been saved but, might have bled to death. 1 hour 16 minutes of waiting. Unbelievable!
More details are coming out about the federal CBP agents storming the classroom when the depraved Uvalde police force failed to act. These local police need to be held accountable -- the entire Uvalde department should resign or be terminated. Border Patrol Agents Acted Unilaterally to Kill Uvalde Gunman After Local Cops Wouldn’t Act https://www.mediaite.com/news/borde...l-uvalde-gunman-after-local-cops-wouldnt-act/ An elite Customs and Border Protection unit killed a school shooter in Texas on Tuesday after agents became frustrated with inaction from local police, according to a report. Nineteen children and two adults were murdered by an 18-year-old man at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. Evidence has emerged throughout the week the city’s police department was derelict in its duty to end the massacre. The Uvalde Police Department had 19 officers outside of a classroom door where the shooter was, yet they neglected to enter for about an hour. They were waiting on a CPB BORTAC SWAT team, which had investigated a drug stash house near the border, Texas Monthly reported. After speaking with a border patrol official, the outlet noted, The agents immediately responded, arriving at the school just before noon. Bortac (Border Patrol Tactical Unit) is CBP’s’s paramilitary force, an elite group of agents trained to exchange gunfire with cartels. Border Patrol agents not in the SWAT unit also rushed to the school, for more personal reasons: their own children were in the building. […] According to the CBP official, three Bortac agents engaged the shooter in gunfire — with one holding a shield — after entering Robb Elementary along with local and state law-enforcement officers. One Bortac agent was wounded, but not critically. The CBP official told Texas Monthly that it’s “unclear which bullet from which gun” struck the shooter and killed him. Julia E. Ainsley with NBC News reported the elite squad did not coordinate with the Uvalde Police Department before the gunman was killed. Agents became frustrated at the department’s inaction, and acted unilaterally to take out the killer The suspect was killed after he was shot approximately 15 times. One of the BORTAC agents was injured when a bullet grazed his head.
I don’t understand why the parents didn’t storm the school with their own guns. after all that’s why all those Texans have guns: 1. To stop an oppressive government. 2. Defend their families 3. Stop a bad guy with a gun.
