    They're going to China because that's where the sales are. Otherwise, they are leaving China to chase cheaper labor elsewhere. It's all about landed cost.

  2. Yes, there are sales in China, but China is a net exporter, which means in the aggregate, most sales are outside of China. China is mainly a manufacturing base.

    Addendum: The article also does not disclose the fact that US oil exploration is choked off because of Obama's moratorium on oil drilling and EPA regulations. Then we have coal factories that are getting shut down because of the EPA.
