I have been lurking for a few weeks now and really enjoy reading the post around here. I recently sign up with Etrade Canada and using their computer base platform. It does not have direct access to ECNs. They also offer a software base platform which will give you direct access to slected ECNs. Would a platform with direct access give me a better edge on the market?? How so? I trade about 5 to 10 times/day.
