First thing I'd like to know is how the hell does a "volunteer" get conscientious objector status? I could see that if there was a draft, but these days you must know what you're getting into. http://news.yahoo.com/army-awol-soldier-admits-fort-hood-attack-plan-185618852.html
My big question is WTF is "conscientious objector status?" I dont care whether they are a "volunteer" or not. I have Never heard of that before. You mean to tell me someone can sign up for the army, and then when it comes time to go to war they can say it was against their religious beliefs/morals and get out of serving? Does this not sound like the most assinine rule you have ever heard of?
