Exactly and then when a lunatic gets one of those under the facade that they're fun to drive...then uses it to blow up a school, police station, or cause a hospital to collapse to the ground...

America will say that handguns kill more people to justify their ownership of a "killer tank".

Simply, we shouldn't need a degree in rocket science to understand we're mature enough as a whole to not allow "good citizens" to own a tank because we know one day one of those "good citizens" will snap mentally because...

They were fired from a job, had nasty divorce settlement, bullied at school/job, had too many concussions in a sport, have PTSD, are high on drugs, are racist, indoctrinated religious person, can't relate to women, crazy U.S. President tells them to fight like hell, gang member steals a tank from a "good citizens", and so many other common scenarios that we see on a daily basis that results in mass violence...

It will result in someone using that damn tank against other citizens. It's a reason why we have laws in place to prevent (make it extremely difficult) civilians from owning weaponized armor tanks and other weapons of mass destruction such as small nuclear devices...

Yeah, the above latter (small nuclear-unarmed device) has been built by curious geniuses at our college campuses.

Anyways, an Assault Weapon is no different and the only reason why most of the U.S. population does not own a damn "destructive armored tank" is that A Destructive Device permit or license is required are extremely difficult to obtain.

Simply, purchasing a functional tank (one with an operational cannon) is legal but most civilians don’t qualify, and the few that would qualify...operation of a tank is very rare for a typical civilian especially to purchase the shells for one to weaponize it. Yet, any idiot should know by now you don't need to shoot the cannon from a tank to kill someone. You can just drive over (crush people in their cars) during a stuck-in-traffic freeway, or drive through buildings/schools to make them unstable so that they easily collapse on those in the building.

Opponents of gun control argue that any regulation of firearms would violate a strict interpretation of the Constitution. But given that, shouldn’t all weapons be legal? In short, if you can buy the ever-popular AR-15, shouldn't you be able to buy a tank? You can.

For the record, I have several ex-military friends who were an Armor M1 tank crewman (MOS 19K enlisted/19A officer) and these guys/gals are now civilians..."good civilians".

Heck, what could possibly go wrong if we allow any civilian (good civilians) to get a license to operate a functional armor tank and then allow some of them to purchase a tank considering our so-called "background checks" have too many flaws ???

What could happen if one of my friends that is a good civilian today but then snaps tomorrow to the point that he/she is no longer a "good civilian" ???

Seriously, whenever I hear/read about the "good civilian" argument it makes me want to vomit. It's the same ad nauseam argument that "good civilians" will not use their Assault Weapons against other civilians unless a crime is being committed against them, against a neighbor, or against anyone in their community.

The ironic aspect...there's a growing demand globally by civilians to own a weaponized armor tank by wealthy individuals who need protection from very bad people or it's a wealthy civilian who lives near/in a War zone but the United States has made it almost impossible for a civilian in the United States to own/operate a weaponized armor tank...

We're smart enough to know what can happen if our "good civilians" begin parking their tanks in their driveway and anywhere else on their private property.

Why is the United States so afraid of its "good civilians" owning a weaponized armor tank ???

Now I need to convince the neighborhood watchdog organization back in the United States where my 2nd home is located to get an M1 Abrams weaponized armor tank to use during its patrol of the neighborhood because violent criminals (thugs) have cars today and they can easily drive to our community from a nearby city (sarcasm).

    :wtf: o_O

P.S. One of my ex-military buddies often jokes about opening a pizza delivery place in his rural town...he'll advertise that you can have your pizza delivered by armor tank if you're willing to accept the fuel tag for the delivery...

About 13000 gallons of fuel at a cost of around $3900 dollars. Another reason why the typical American does not own an armor tank plus they will make a lot of pot holes...costly to tax payers to have the roads fixed. :banghead:

P.S.S. Do you want to drive your kids to school in a armor tank ???

It's more than a way of life

We all know what can happen, as it happened before. I'm sure you remember it from 30ish years ago.
