German media, citing police at the scene, said first indications pointed to an attack on the market, situated at the foot of the ruined Kaiser Wilhelm memorial church, which was kept as a bombed-out ruin after World War Two. The incident evoked memories of an attack in France in July when Tunisian-born man drove a 19-tonne truck along the beach front, mowing down people who had gathered to watch the fireworks on Bastille Day, killing 86 people. The attack was claimed by Islamic State. The truck careered into the Berlin market at what would have been one of the most crowded times for the Christmas market, when adults and children would be gathering in the traditional cluster of wooden huts that sell food and Christmas goods. Berlin police said nine people were killed "I heard a big noise and then I moved on the Christmas market and saw much chaos...many injured people," Jan Hollitzer, deputy editor in chief of Berliner Morgenpost, told CNN. "It was really traumatic." Police cars and ambulances converged quickly on the scene as a huge security operation unfolded. The fate of the driver of the truck was not immediately clear, but Bild newspaper said he was on the run. Emma Rushton, a tourist visiting Berlin, told CNN the truck seemed to be traveling at about 40 mph (65 Kmh). Asked how many were injured, she said that as she walked back to her hotel, she saw at least 10. Julian Reichelt, editor in chief of Bild Berlin, said that there was currently a massive security operation under way. I've had people on this message board who might actually live in Germany argue with me and tell me that there is an equal probability between a Shaolin Monk in China and a Muslim Person committing an act of terror in Europe. What will Merkel say about this? Let me guess, Angry White Males inspired this attack.
I don't know about Germany, but in the US, Obama and the media invariably are concerned about a backlash by ignorant bigots against "largely peaceful" muslims. The Americans who get killed are acceptable losses in the war for multiculturalism.
The idea of Muslim assimilation is a failed idea. If they hate White Christians both in America & Europe for the list of crimes that the Muslim Apologists claim then why is it a good idea to let them in? Will that somehow erase the past? Today in Germany a Muslim (probably refugee) decided to throw away their new life in Germany and drive a commercial truck into a crowd of people. What is the benefit of letting these people in? I'd rather that Muslims hate me from afar than in my own country. If you must let in refugees then let in people from non-muslim countries. I mean the USA does not have Mexican Immigrants committing acts of terror everyday. Where are the Polish terrorists in the UK? Can we end this stupid argument that all groups of people stand an equal chance of committing an act of terror? I'd rather that Muslims hate me from afar than in my own country.
Trump was elected to stop the cultural suicide of establishment politicians/traitors. Hopefully, his allies in other western nations rise up and ship the establishment class of traitors off to a multicultural paradise.
History has shown for 1500 years that Muslims will never assimilate. Wherever they live, they will start exterminating non-muslims as soon as their presence passes a certain critical mass (> 5%) There's only one solution to this, forbid Islam and kick every Muslim out of the country. If not, things will get a whole lot worse.
Big part of the problem is that majority of the European population is so brainwashed that they actually think this way.
