there won't be a wall if Mexico has to pay for it! If you want to pay for it, you're a fool. It would be a very bad investment.

And how does one hug a tree with limp wrists. What do you do, just try to squeeze it between your forearms?

you used most of the top leftist lie/propaganda techniques in one short post. that took some talent or thinking... well done comrade.

    1. you assumed my position to be something its not and celebrity (econ) named dropped.
    2. you set up a stawman
    3. you put in a red herring about greenspan
    4. you created a diversion away from point of the argument. The point being is we don't need income taxes to fund the govt.

    --

I voted for Trump because he was a far better choice than a known traitor who for instance sells uranium to putin for 150 million dollars to her foundation while being secretary of state and tells bankers she has a public position and a real position.

let me know when you wish to have a real discussion about the points I made.

That was your point; not mine. My point was that you are insane to suggest we must print the money we need without borrowing it. You are confused, of course -- when have you not been?.

correct... that was my point. your response then became an issue because it was beautifully devious and deceptive.

    1. we could balance the budget by cutting spending . We had no federal income tax for years
    2. we could raise revenues with tariffs
    3. we could cap the budget and grow into it because govt receipts always grow over time because the Federal Reserve creates massive sytemic inflation over time.
    4. this is more subtle... so pay attention.

presumably the vast majority of people are against printing over borrowing because of a fear of inflation.

4.a But... I ask you.. if the FEDERAL reserve creates the money we borrow... how is that helping us.
answer its not. the same inflation would still be caused.

4.b Since we know the federal reserve has printed trillions of dollars on its own that is did not give to the U.S.. how has income taxes helped us. Why don't we just fund the govt with the money the Federal Reserve is creating.

    4. c. you can't reply with any substance because you, me, congress, the president, americans, no one but a FED owner, has any idea how much the Federal Reserve creates each year. they only account for some of the money they create.

So piezoe I know you are smart crony loving lefty... so instead of rhetorical devices why don't you respond with some substance to the above.

I would be delighted to be challenged on this so I could refine by argument.

Drumpf has reversed even this. There will be no mass roundup and deportation (those were the awful things Obama did, "which no one talks about"), and no wall. Now it's a guarded fence (which we already have).

The only promise he hasn't reversed, iirc, is the promise to give California farmers water, since "there is no drought" there.

We hear the nonsense that Drumpf would have "campaigned differently" if he had had to appeal to the masses instead of the EC. Sure, real different, instead of promising A and reversing or watering down to B, he would have promised B and reversed to A.

ha ha ha. He's even more entertaining now then on the celebrity apprentice (or whatever that show was called). Sadly, the stakes are much higher now, so the Trump variety show could prove to be an exceedingly expensive form of entertainment. What rankles me not just a little is that we are all going to pay for keeping Trump and his family entourage in grand style in our White House, while the decisions -- we can hope -- are made by more competent -- we can hope -- appointees. We voted him a four year, all expenses paid, golf vacation. During the campaign he told his "black person" and other assorted, huddled masses, "[he] wouldn't take any vacations as President." It is all so ironic it makes me want to puke.

First of all, he didn't "beat the shit" out of anyone, except his own respectability--more Americans want Hillary.

Second, will you ever get used to his broken promises and weaseling?
    :D

Well said. We'll soon see who is the "most vacationing president" ever (or whatever that dumb thread was named).
