Another epic failure by the environmentalist pussies

  1. Grand scale research like this needs to be subsidized by the govt. Just like the lunar and atomic programs were. The same should be done to a greater extent with fusion research. And carbon needs to taxed so that market forces can work to find the best way toward low carbon energy.

    from the article:

...The federal government has already dumped billions of dollars into facilities and programs producing biofuels in the name of preventing climate change but as usual, is having the opposite effect than originally intended...

They may be good at making movies, but Hollywood celebrities’ lifestyles are far from an environmentalist’s dream. Their globetrotting, multiple mansion owning ways are inconsistent with the environmental agenda they loudly promote.

Showtime’s new climate change series, “Years of Living Dangerously,” premiered April 13, 2014, slightly more than a week before Earth Day 2014. It relies on several wealthy, Hollywood celebrities to spread fear about climate change. While these actors and directors talk a lot about reducing carbon footprints and saving the world, they haven’t given up their own enormous mansions and private jets...

CNSNews.com) - At the behest of the National Park Service (NPS), the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is planning to spend $100,000 of federal highway funds on a study to count the number of birds that are killed flying into a rebuilt bridge over the Mississippi River....

  9. Liberalism should be listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), with detachment from reality, hypocrisy and dishonesty as three key diagnostic criteria.

  10. Honestly, as much as we complain about the government and all it's irrational, manic-depressive shenanigans, nothing is going to change without a full-blown revolution.

Since that really isn't going to happen, perhaps the better idea is to join the crowd. That is, brain-storm a portfolio of wacky ideas (like the counting birds grant above), obtain government funding, and kick-back some of it to the sponsoring Rep(s) and Senators(s). And live happily ever after...

Who needs morals or ethics in a world lacking in both... All that matters is that the brother gets paid...
