People call themselves moderate because it makes it seems that less harsh than the term liberal. --and also insulates them from criticism that they may receive. It's a way to hide their liberalism. After all, have you ever met a Conservative that was afraid to say they were? The answer is no. =--But you rarely if ever, run into a Liberal that says they are a Liberal. ----Moderates are Liberals---
ad ho·mi·nem /ˌad ˈhämənəm/ adjective 1. (of an argument or reaction) directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining.
Every time a Dem candidate announces a run for President , there's a new thread loaded with dirt and criticism. No one runs to mgmt. -- -- So when the entire First Family of the United States is under investigation for acts of corruption , THAT is going to get its own thread.
The entire First Family is not under investigation , nor should they be.-- I do agree though that the threadings should be limited on both sides. There should be about 10 mgmt initiated threadings in the politics section and all others should be closed. It's total vanity that people rush to start new pages to see their headline and name in bold.
Guys need to change your diapers. This site works on page views, why the fuck would management REDUCE the number of threads. I am surprised many of you can even trade with such shit business knowledge.
It was well understood prior to your posting why the proliferation of politics vanity threadings are allowed. -
