Hi, of course you have to control the risk, when you are entered a position, to not get any loss. But to be surprised of a good win, is stupid. Why the fuck do you trade then ? To be surprised, when you win ? If yes, you shouldnt trade in the first place !!! To win: you must trade to win and control the risk until your trade is safe, then you must control your profit until all odds change against you, or you have made enough profits for you in this trade..... Of course i have understood, that he meant, he must be in the first line, defensive to dont loose any money or too much, if the price dont move how he expected it. But the goal of the game is to predict the price move correctly and make money. Being surprised of wining is just a stupid, saying !!! extremely stupid !!! I dont care what Hedge Funds are doing. Every one who is successfull, trades to WIN, and not to be surprised, when the bet was correct.......What a joke !!!!
Let me clarify two things. I trade trends, preferably weeks to months if I can find one. When I refer to a trade as a loser, I mean that the trade is not proving to be what I consider a winner ... that does not necessarily mean that it is showing me a loss. Now, I say that I expect to lose simply because in my experience the majority of my trades are not winners. So all I am doing is recognising that on average the next trade is unlikely to be a winner. Another way to explain this is that I feel that to be a winner in the long term I must be a great loser in the short term. Does that make anymore sense?
in my experience nothing compares to get laid, when it comes to manage anger. first, sex is about a good pounding, hence one's anger will help to perform adequately. and secondly, all of the sudden, being a helpless loser at trading doesn't feel bad anymore because you're scoring big in other field, which is good for your morale and self esteem. here's my personal schedule: 1 bad trade = a quickie with a sweetie 3 bad trades = a ffm threesome 10 or more bad trades in a row = let's hit one of the rio de janeiro whore houses for week or so and beat the word record. hope it helps.
