Anger as Republicans block bill to help military veterans exposed to toxins

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Frederick Foresight, Jul 28, 2022.

  1. The Republicans get to regroup and fire back.

The dems think this gives them a political weapon now.

That remains to be seen. The republicans can force the dems to use a different funding mechanism so that the bill does not free up 400 billion for lefty programs, and then go forward with the bill.

  4. They want to put the funding into the mandatory category - which will free up 400 billion from discretionary- and then spend the discretionary on climate and trans shit in the name of veterans causes. It is true as Stewart says that what is in the bill would have to be implemented but moving the funding category frees up 400 billion for discretionary bullshit.

Stewart says no because the VA director has to approve everything. Yeh. That's the problem. He approves what the dem progressives will get Biden to demand.

Clean up the funding structure and stop gaming the system.

    Then things will be fine.

  6. That, and the Republicans just don't give a shit about veterans. Just like their fixation with fetuses, once they are born Republicans don't give a shit.

  8. Dems want to kill fetuses before they are even born.

  9. Why won't the Dems pass something for the Vets all by itself? Because they don't care about the Vets and never have.
