Trade - 07/03 I did follow my time stop on my W-C spread and did exit at 150 1/2 with the 3 remaining contracts. I will follow the spread, it still looks interesting to me. Hyp. Profit on the trade is $700 - $150 commission = $550. Hyp. account now at $56,761.
Hey Andy, Nice to see that your journal is still alive. I haven't visited in a while, may I ask what broker your using now? I know a lot of people where using Refco before. Thanks a bunch and continued success in your trading. -Neo
Hi Guys, I am not doing any trade because I am going back home to the DR next week. I hope I am coming back to normal soon and I will try to get some nice trades for the second half of 2006. Happy trading Andy

Trades I am very sorry guys, the journal is not up to date. I was fighting with a cold since I got back from Europe. I did get kicked with an LHQ-LHV trade. Hyp. loss was -$3,872 - commission of $240 = -$4,112. Hyp. account now at $52,649. I did enter KWU-MWU at 4 on 07/25 with 6 contracts, risk $430, target 25 or even higher. I also did a lot of research about my trading of the last 1/2 year. It seems I am taking profits to early and therefore I will try to let the profits run longer before I sell out any contracts. Thanks to my trading journal I could get a pretty good picture about what was going wrong. I also did travel a lot and this did not make it easier but shouldn't be any excuse. Let's see what we get in the next few month. Happy trading everyone, Andy Jordan
Hi Andy! Question: Since you took a 7% loss on your last trade, what's the maximum percentage of your account are you risking on each individual trade? Thanks! B
Trade 08/04 I did exit my KW-MW spread at 3 1/2 with a small loss. Hyp. loss is -$450 - commission $180 = -$630. Hyp. accont now at $52,019. Bad times but don't worry, it only can go better ;-) Happy trading, Andy
Hi Andy! Are you using Trade Navigator to chart spreads? I am looking into (MWU6 â MWZ6) spread that you mentioned in the chart scan, however, it appears that Trade Navigator has an issue w/ the volume for these contracts. I was checking the liquidity for both months, and discovered that my TN is giving me identical volume for both of the contracts. I contacted Genesis about this and they are currently looking into it; just wanted to check w/ you if you have the same problem. Thanks! B
Hi Bastia, try to use "contract volume" instead of volume. I had the same problem when I did start using TN. Hope this helps. Regards, Andy
