Hi Andy! I'm new in your threat and I hope you understand my bad English! A question to your Bond-trade: Why do you choose an initial stop and a profit target of 8 ticks? Not less or more? Why not the point 2 of the 123 low at 110'27? Thank you!
Hi Fredl, this was a meant to be a short term trade. Whenever trading the bonds long term, I totally agree with you, using the last low of the swing for the stop. I think for the bonds you need a very close stop (to catch break outs) or a very wide stop. Take care... Andy
Trade I did it again and entered with 4 contracts into the T-bonds on 02/14 at 110^18. I took first profits on the same day at 111^2. My stop is now at break even for the remaining 3 contracts. I will let it run with a trailing stop. A target could be around the January high at 112^28. Let's see what we get out of this one. Happy trading, Andy
Hi Andy Could you please tell me when ER2, Nq and euro fx rollover (the exact date and time) please Thanks SAVIOLA
Hi, there is not "time" when the roll over happens. It is during the day (or even days). The roll over in the indices is 03/08. Regards, Andy PS You broker should not, if not, change!
Hi Guys, I am sorry but I have been very busy the last few days. I did close out my T-bond trade at 113^01. I also have a few bad trades in the meats and the currencies and I am down about 10% at the moment. I sold 6 x LH at 66.95 with a risk of $600. Let's see if trading will get better. Will try to post all my trades more accurate. Happy trading, Andy
Trade I covered 2 LH at 65.7 and got stopped out at break even with the rest. Hyp. profit on this trade $1,000 - commission of $90 = $910. Hyp. account at $90,910. Happy trading, Andy
Hi Guys, I would like to change the idea of this journal. I've been posting trades since July 2004 but I am not sure if this really helps new traders. What they can definetly learn from this journal so far is " you have good times and you have bad times". Now, I would like to try something new. Let's find new trades or other interesting topics to talk about. I am sure, other traders can learn much more this way, what do you think? Let's give it a try. Happy trading, Andy
