After updating my Trader Navigator to 3.01 my trading data base did get screwed up. I am going to wait till my account is ready. Money is on the way to a new online broker, because I want to try how Trade Navigators works with its included order possibilities. Well, we will see. Should only take a few days more. I do expect to start trading the new account on Monday. Happy trading, Andy Jordan
Yes...well, at least I will try. Never used it before, let's see how it will work. My account is set up, TN running and I am ready to go. Let's see what we get the next few days. Will start with only a few contracts risking 1% for the beginning till I know how TN together with Transact is working. happy trading Andy
08/04 Hi Guys, I have done my first trades using Trade Navigator together with my account. It seems it is working fine so far. Orders are easy to place (the same as with paper trading) and the platform is fast. I will still stay with my 1% risk for the moment for a while. Some additional rules: I am skalping at the moment, but this doesn't mean I am changing to something else as soon as I see another chance. I am not using a fixed time frame. I am using the one that fits the market but usually something between 1 and 10 minutes. I am following the Euro FX and the Russell 2000 for the moment. I am using a tight time stop and like always in skalping, I try to cash in some money as soon as I get some. Well, I guess thats it for the moment. I will put my trades on the net every afternoon. Happy trading to all of you... Andy Jordan
Ok Guys, trading platform is working great. Unfortunately I will not be avaliable for the next few weeks. Have to do a training. Will start when I get back to day trading. Will keep on with the spread trading. This can be done in less time during the day. Happy trading to everyone...will keep you up to date, Andy
Hi andy Nice Trading, just a few questions if you dont mind 1. How do you choose which number of ticks on a tick chart to use? 2. Do you only trade in the morning? 3. Whqatt timeframe do you trade? Thanks Saviola
Hi Saviola, 1. How do you choose which number of ticks on a tick chart to use? This is based on pure observation. I just try to find the one that fits my trading style. 2. Do you only trade in the morning? The euro fx only till around 11:00 AM CST, the indices somtimes in the afternoon, depending on the movement. 3. Whqatt timeframe do you trade? I am not focused on a single time frame. I like 10 minutes on the euro fx at the moment and 5 minutes on the russell 2000. But this might change from time to time. Happy trading, Andy
Trades 08/07 Hi Guys, I did a few trades today. I did end the day with a smal loss in the Euro but could make a few $ in the Russell. You will find the trades in the PDF attached. Commission is not included, please calculate it on your own. I will also not keep all trades and therefore everone who is interested may keep some book keeping. I will only have a look into my account from time to time and then I will let you know the numbers (let's say once a month). I am sorry guys but I have to keep it very basic because I just don't find the time. But I hope you like it anyway. Trade 08/08 I did catch a good one this morning on YM. I did take the YM because it did look much stronger then the other ones. I did stay away from the euro. Much too slow. Market was flat after 9:00 AM CST because of the FOMC announcement at 1.15 PM. Let's see if we get something interesting in the afternoon. Happy trading, Andy
Trade 08/09 Oh boy, what a day. After moving down to 1.28 and then back up to 1.29 nothing happend in the Euro FX. I did try to trade the Russell but could only catch a few ticks on one contracts. The second got stopped out at b/e. Some movement in the Russell now, also NQ is moving. Will keep on watching it. http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&groupid=707 Happy trading, Andy
