Rossi is demonstrably lying about at least some aspects of the e-cat - why? -- For example, Lewan quoted Rossi March 10 in Ny Teknik: âThe 500,000 Euros I am paying to the University of Bologna is my last money, but when I deliver the one-megawatt plant to Defkalion, I get cash back. From then on, 50% will be used for expansion and 50% to treat children with cancer. I will personally look for the children whose families cannot afford their care,â Rossi said. However, the university had not signed a contract with Rossi at that time, and Rossi has yet to pay anything to the university, as Paolo Capiluppi, the head of the Department of Physics at the University of Bologna, told me in a phone call on June 24. Back on Feb. 23, Lewan had quoted incredible claims made by Levi. âMinimum power was 15 kilowatts, and thatâs a conservative value. I calculated it several times. At night, we did a measurement, and the device then worked very stable and produced 20 kilowatts,â Levi said. <b>Lewan told me later that all he had were Levi's words and final conclusions, with no written technical report and no experimental data.</b>
I have changed my mind and seen the light. The man is a fraud! How could I have been so stupid, so retarded, so devoid of any critical thinking at all? I may never know. I will sadly return to my previous quest of proving Bigfoot walks the Rockies. Or perhaps that the Greys walk amongst us. It seems sad to return to these endeavors. . . maybe I will get lucky and a Republican will win the Whitehouse. Then something major will happen and I can join that conspiracy movement. Yeah! Positive thinking, my friends! There's always something good just around the corner! It is very obvious that this is a fraud.
Defkalion, the company that will be manufacturing the commercial versions of the E-cat, recently had a press conference on June 23. Defkalion Press Conference Videos: Unofficial http://freeenergytruth.blogspot.com/2011/06/defkalion-press-conference-videos.html Main points of the conference are: * Greek Deputy Development Minister Socrates Xynidis Attends * Agreement With 3 Multinational Companies * 17 Countries Have Expressed Interest * Establishment Of New Research Centre * 3 New Plants Making e-cats in Xanthi * Investment Totals 200 Million Euros * Co-operation With University of Xanthi
I see this moving forward fast and furiously overseas. I see the big stall coming for US commercial use. Maybe after 5 or 10 years of military testing and enough time for all of the Corps engaged in the energy business to hedge their interest we may see this technology. Too many deep pockets having too much to lose.
So it turns out Rossi peddled this tech to the US Army nearly 15 years ago. They bit on it. The device failed to meet expectations when tested by anyone nit named Rossi. Contract went *poof*.
Talk about a telling statistic. Only 17? Just expressed interest? The man can supposedly create Too Cheap To Meter Juice. Talk about putting your economy into overdrive, yikes. Yet only 17 countries are clueless enough (or wise enough) to check it out. Make no mistake. If we achieved power that cheap I'd be tempted to try a cartwheel - never done one and I'm sure my doctor would advise against - it would be a great thing! (cheap juice, my cartwheel would be pathetic). But everything about this guy stinks.
I saw another video today where Rossi states they use some sort of device to verify the steam output is "dry steam" ( 100% vaporized) and not "wet steam" (containing some water). This partially answers one question I had. One's waiting another 3 months isn't too long after waiting almost 22 and one half years for someone to demonstrate a CF product that is possibly marketable. We should have a good idea in a few months how well this device works.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hVcRggbHrM&feature=related That is a link to a video where Rossi says that, up to the time of the video in March, he has only spent his own money on development of the ecat. It's possible other arrangements could have been made since March, but the risk seemed to be all his at the time of the video.
The problem is the specific device cited is designed to measure something else entirely. Oops. It's wet steam - bank on it.
Here is the link to a scientist, completely independent of Rossi, who was able to clearly measure about 8 watts of cold fusion power using a Ni-H type of setup. It's possible that if this person was able to measure 8 watts, which might be close to the noise floor, the measurements in the kilowatt range done by Rossi might be orders of magnitude above the noise floor. http://nextbigfuture.com/2011/06/brian-ahern-getting-8-watts-in-low.html
