Did I say, or suggest, that I know all the details? Didn't I suggest that we don't know the details yet? "The kiddie game is down the street."
I've identified several chat-personality profiles visible on this site, but the case you refer to, imo, is simply a Dunning Kruger Effect situation ("people with low ability at a task overestimate their ability."--Wikipedia) IOW, it's not pretend.
Ok, I'm going to walk through this real slowly for you. I said this to your buddy: You replied: Dumbed down even further, for you: Those who don't know, (that would be me, currently) and are willing to wait for further evidence, do not imply that they do know, simply by asking for others, who are claiming that they do know, (that would be your buddy) to go on record. Clear enough for you? Now please tell everyone how I suggested anything whatsoever, by asking your buddy about what he may be suggesting, and asking him to go on record, if he is claiming to know the facts before all the evidence was release. I'm sure he appreciates you coming to his rescue ... to save him [sarcasm]. Seriously though, I appreciate the comic relief you bring. And for that, I thank you! E-40 - Captain Save A Hoe ft. When you say "you seem to suggest God exists" you are signaling to the world that you are certain that God does not exist. You show bewilderment.
I think you did miss an English literature class or two. Or perhaps your school skipped stylistic devices in English language entirely?
