Exactly. Resisting arrest is the stupidest thing one can do. The officers already made up their mind, nothing will change their decision to handcuff once decided. Fight that afterwards if there is disagreement.
I don't disagree with just about anything you said in this. But that doesn't change the fact that if a cop confronts me and I feel they are unjustified in their confrontation or line of questioning, or demands, etc., I would comply with them at the point of confrontation and sort it out legally, later. To challenge the cop at the point of confrontation means I subject myself to that cop's mercy. He has the law, a weapon, and backup at that point in time. Regardless of whether he is in the right. So you'd have to be an idiot (in my mind) to try to pick a fight with him.
Sure but often the cop brings the fight to the person. I still think it is setting up the right for the police officer to do whatever he wants and you just have to take it and later on do what? File a complaint? What if there is no video evidence? Your word against a cop, I know who wins.
If there is no video evidence, you're going to lose either way. At least my way involves me not getting killed.
Some people comply, get handcuffed and get put into a patrol car... They still get shot multiple times. In this case, the guy was probably killed because he called the police officer's mom a bad name or he refused to suck the cop's dick. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-51291200 https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/20m-settlement-reached-police-killing-handcuffed-man-73294143 In my opinion, its police shootings like that...reason why people in some communities fear the police even when they're handcuffed with the arms behind their back and unarmed. I'm not being sarcastic with the dick story...I do remember a situation when I was in the military and stationed in Kentucky (Fort Campbell)...a friend of mine (a military officer too) was arrested for speeding late at night on a dark road. He said the cop handcuffed him with his arms behind his back, put him in the back seat of the police car and the cop became very angry after my friend refused to give the cop a blow job. He argued multiple times with the cop to give him his speeding ticket and let him go on his way. He actually thought the cop was going to shoot him dead right there...with no witnesses around. Cop later fired from his job (to protect the community) only after other similar like complaints from other individuals. Yet, it does make me wonder how many others didn't file a complaint. The entire Brown family has lengthy rap sheets... https://pasquotankgop.com/andrew-browns-arrest-record-and-legacy/
So what you're saying is, that if someone, and his family has a long rap sheet, The Constitution no longer applies to them? Again, I really think you'd love Russia, North Korea, or China.
If you deliberately run over two cops while driving your vehicle then the probable result invokes gunfire.
We can discuss that later if we both decide to. I'm asking why you thought the rap sheet was relevant, to the cops shooting him in the back of the head? Again, are you suggesting that The Constitution doesn't apply due to his, and his families' rap sheets?
GWB always shows his MAGA when it comes to race. From Travon Martin to kneeling to Brown etc he is always on the side of the supremacists.
