Overnight v Wildchild Overnight wins in the IQ category. Wildchild wins in the Trump buttplug category.
Ummmm, isnt that the point of posting a public journal on the internet, to post trades and get feedback. He can be a jerk and call people offering advice idiots and whatnot, that is his prerogative. I am not particularly offended when you consider he also make claims that Paul Tudor Jones and RoaringKitty are morons too.
Overnight is a losing trader. Think about this, Overnight is a losing trader and he is out there bashing Paul Tudor Jones and RoaringKitty. I generally ignore most of his posts, so it is likely that there are plenty other successful people he had bashed.
I have asked the mods to close this thread. The last time I did that 5 or so years ago, users whom you do not know exist (because they are lurkers who rarely post) PMed me to please re-open it, because they enjoyed watching the progress of the journal. Well, a couple of jerks have made it not worth continuing any longer. If you wish to complain about this, complain to the management about these issues. The issues being trolls who lie, and trolls who confront and then hide. I currently have higher priorities than nursing this journal to keep if from becoming a B1S2 thing. See you here in the future, maybe.
This is where the ignore and block feature come handy. I have a good number of no hopers on ignore, so I'm not seeing the trolling on your journal. Pity, as I was following along.
If you may recall, I do not and have not blocked/ignored anyone on this site, ever, because it inhibits conversational flow. I am an old-school online poster of 40 years where in the beginning, that feature did not exist. We all got along just fine. That feature is just too PC and snowflake. I will NOT tolerate that lack of flow in my journal.
Yah I already know your opinion about the ignore feature. We all have different points of view, but if posters are wasting your time, irritating, why put up with it. As for the fact you reckon the ignore feature damages the flow of a thread, I disagree. The reasons; if idiots post idiot stuff, you are missing nothing. Who care what the clowns are writing. Do you really take an interest in clowns opinions? I'm here on ET for entertainment really mostly. There are some brilliant posters on ET, witty, clever, highly intelligent, that's the stuff which interests me. As for time wasters, they can bugger off into ignore land. It's ironic though, you have frequent dummy spits on ET and they invariably are about you having confrontations with the clowns. @Overnight you are stuck in a mentality about the ignore feature which to the detriment is causing you grief.
See, here you won't tolerate stuff which you can easily ignore. Your problem, addiction to opinions so ya feel ya gotta read clown writings.
That's the thing...Just because someone posts something idiotic once, does not mean they do it ALL THE TIME. I HAVE THE CHOICE OF READING THROUGH SOMETHING IDIOTIC FROM A POSTER I RESPECT, AND MENTALLY DISMISSING IT. People that I like a great deal, they post something stupid once or twice? I brush it off. piezoe is a great example. I have admired many of his posts, when I felt he crossed the line on his understanding of Modern Money Mechanics, I did not place him on ignore, forever never seeing his insights again...I just mentally ignored the shit he posted that I did not agree with. BUT AT LEAST WE HAVE THE CHOICE TO CONTINUE THE DISCUSSION. Having that choice is important to me.
