Fucking power outage. There's been a transformer across the street burping for the past few hours. Sounds like it finally gave up the ghost. lol, I think it is a wild turkey that got caught in the wires. Have to shut down until power comes back.

And folks, this is why you need a battery backup with protection...

See that "Invert" total? That's the sort of thing that fries PCs. :)

Get a UPS! Save yourself from wild turkeys!

Couldn't help but laugh at that response. :) Not at your losses, but at your warped sense of humor, which I appreciate. Your bound to buy near a bottom somewhere along the line. Hope so, anyway.

After we were so rudely interrupted by the power outage I can now address that comment. I do not see slippage as a problem in any futures trading in front months. I do not know where that idea comes from, because exits, in my view, would be limit orders.

If you want an emergency bail then you just market it, and you are insta-fill.

Heh, no worries, it is laughable at this point.

Bound to buy a bottom at some point? I keep thinking that, and every time I buy in for a small swing the market goes PFFFFHHT. Like Tuesday, and that 100 point swoon. WTF was that? And now we will fester in a range 100 points below my entry for how many more fucking weeks!? It is annoying now.

But I am learning the markets, once more! Without the Fed QE BS, this is what happens.

  5. Hello Overnight,

Good journal and much respect to you sir. I don't know no other thread that shows real live track record on ET.

    One question please.

How many years or months have you been trading this strategy manually by hand sir?

    Thank you.

The whole bit of it. I have never programmed the Ninja ATM to work with signals from my indicators to automate an entry system. In testing, it all seemed too impersonal. And to be honest, I love the discretionary nature of trading. It makes me feel more engaged.

Was wondering about that, as well, because that was a pretty extreme drop. Digging around, after the fact, all I could find was this:

Mreh. I would chalk it up more to end-of-quarter re balancing. Money managers gotta' get paid by saying they bailed out of failing stocks, which are ALL of them this half, so their numbers can look better for the second half.

    It's just a game.

Mark my words...If Putin is taken out, or in some other fashion goes away, this market is going to recoil spring north like nobody's business.
