Hi all, first timer here looking for knowledge.
Hopefully I’ll have something to contribute instead of looking for handouts.
But for now my hand is out. BTW the sandwiches were good.

So I’ve always dabbled, a dozen trades a year using TD Ameritrade
Starting to get serious about trading… So I’ve been playing around with
Ameritrades command center and strategy desk as well as Quote tracker.

First, there is not much commentary around about Ameritrade does that mean I need to switch if I plan on getting serious about trading?

Second, what platform should I use?
My search for knowledge has led me to want to chart price, mostly bid and ask price.
I want to be able to take bid/ask, lot size, volume and massage the data chart it with column type charts with user defined X and Y and then make up my trading rules from that.(All live and backtesting) Hopefully getting my automated buy/sell signals from resulting chart.

So I’m having trouble finding software that will do above without trying each one.

    Thanks in advance
