    From one of our clients who mostly trades pinks and otcbb:

    Ameritrade will continuing charging fees on otcbb and pink sheets just like before. Etrade will make theirs zero commission but are going to raise the rates to 4.99 for people paying less now. They will also pass along FINRA charges that can be a lot in pinks/otcbb trading.

    From what I understand no one is lowering less the .50 per option contract? I think tasty trade is still cheapest with .50 one way?

  3. Yes— TastyTrades is the cheaper ‘most of the times’: You pay $1.00 to open and $0.00 to close which amounts to $0.50 per side (a leg) . However on TOS, you pay $0.65 per leg unless you closed a leg for less than $0.05, in which case you pay $0.00 — and this would be cheaper in comparison ($0.325)

    LOL;
    actually having done business with Etrade, most likely raised more than the bar. BUT the good news is they split their stock so many times, they deserve every downtick they get. LOL As far as being ''number 1'' that's because they offer >4,000 mutual funds. I would rate them worst, for a stock /ETF trader/investor. Most likely a rival like AMTD, ALLY, SCHW or IBKR buys them for pennies on the dollar. LOL...………………………………………………………………………………………….
