And that’s what a lot of people get hung up on when first coming into this industry, unaware of what it takes. Another aspect of this mountain and uphill battle when it comes to trading.

Another aspect related to that is they see the glitz and glam associated with trading on social media and expectations are skewed.

Exactly. How many routes have you taken in your own journey uphill to get to where you are now - to come to this realization?

The trick is to detect when their algos are operating, get in with them and get out just after they stop buying.

    The market makes itself available.

The market did it to me. No you did it to you.

OK, someone thinks they are Galahad. Find an edge. Conquer yourself? Stop romanticizing your failures. This was fcking cringe.

The challenge imo is finding a simple approach to trading, that's the uphill battle.

Having degrees in Business, Psychology, Master in Management and one year at Med school, did any help? Obviously not. Being born Autistic/Aspergers only gave me perseverance to never quit that I actually enjoyed from overcoming the challenge of me vs me.

Automation does systems that doing manually would be impossible, being 68yo, just too old.
But those I can trade manually like I did scalping for 20 years, I can handle half dozen instead of 200-300 trades a day. It just comes down to my heart isn't in it like before. It's just too simple. Scalping for 37 years, it gets old.
