An educator trains people scammed by other educators

  1. Sure I can agree with you. And then there are smart and intelligent people, who most of the time make rational decisions and are among the most ethical and honest. They can be arrogant and abrasive at times. Not the perfect mix but pretty high up there if you ask me.

Maybe it seems there are more dumb people in the US, simply because the US has more people than all the other places you mentioned?

You'd have to break it down by percentage of population.

  4. Needless to say I was referring to percentages, I think I actually used the term "idiots per capita" that should have made that clear.

And it is an idiot figure to post, because it has to combine per capita with average temperature?

    How about this one?

US is #8 on that list.

No, I am talking just the average IQ divided over the population count, with no other qualifiers.

  6. It's not just iq. Intelligent people can do incredibly dumb things at times. And in America couple things may contribute to a higher percentage of stupid behavior despite a relatively high iq: a) peer pressure to display success and wealth as a symbol of success which often leads to stupid decision making such as overspending and over-borrowing to suggest wealth when there is actually none or less than displayed, b) higher tolerance for risk, which leads to often irrational risky decisions, and c) greed greed greed, very few other cultures display an outrageous greed and love for money as much as Americans. Those with money can make all sorts of stupid decisions and get away with it and the cattle class almost proudly imitates such decision making believing that their financially successful gurus know what they are doing.

  7. What are you talking about? How about bowing out of the discussion when one cannot follow anymore? What you said makes zero sense, better you keep posting some more music videos to hide the idiocy.

NVM. When I clicked the first link on this thread, there was an IQ comparison based on population with temperature variations. The links seem to be varying between the .com site, and they link to a UN site? I got lost in the noise. My bad, bowing out.

Actually there are 22 countries ranked ahead of us (the US) in average country IQ. :(

  10. Which comes pretty close to the 20-30 countries above the US I stated earlier though I talked more broadly about stupid decision making rather than isolated iq figures. The IQ figures among the top 30 nations are pretty close and display a rather low stdev. Also, I suspect the methodology of assessing avg iq among nations is highly skewed. Pisa and other tests are used, meaning only those students who participated in the test are obviously assessed. I know for a fact that the iq figures of HK and Singapore are completely overblown, only the results of the top schools are taken. HK I know for sure does not publish iq test results from all lower rated schools. Probably the same in countries like China, Thailand, India,....
