  2. Lt. Ehren Watada will be prosecuted, found guilty and he will be put in jail (assuming the Army aren't such gigantic politically correct twats as to not uphold the law).

Suxx for him....as he will be making big rocks into small rocks for quite awhile.

Brush up on your writing skills Louie. When you're out ...you can write a book and tell everyone all about your principals.

    Grumbling in the Ranks

Vocal opposition to President’s Bush’s strategy of sending more than 20,000 additional troops to help secure Iraq has grown to include some of the troops themselves.

A group of more than 50 active-duty military officers will deliver a petition to Congress on Tuesday signed by about 1,000 troops calling for an end to the U.S. occupation of Iraq. “Any troop increase over here will just produce more sitting ducks, more targets,” said Sergeant Ronn Cantu, who is serving in Iraq.

Under the 1988 Military Whistleblower Protection Act, active duty military, National Guard, and Reservists may communicate with any member of Congress without fear of reprisal, even if copies of the communication are sent to others.

  5. I know I have mocked you about it in the past, but seriously, ratboy... how much of your time do you spend searchng Google Video? I mean you have probably posted over 1,000 links to different video clips from GV, YouTube, and other sources. I just wonder where you find the time to search out all this stuff?? I mean you have to search it out, then watch all of them to check for content, right? I presume you are also archiving all of the ones you post.

  6. Well rat, I don't know what the vid has to do with thread, but the vid brought back memories, sad to say. I wish I wouldn't have played it. If these young men live long enough to be a tired old fool like me, they'll regret ever being amused by such things. I have been forgiven, but I cannot forget. Perhaps that is punishment enough. Maybe more punishment to come. Gotta' take it either way. Guilty as charged! No excuses for such behavior whatever the circumstances.

  7. 1000??? no way.. not even close, how absurd. you can't be this stupid. i would go so far as to say less than 100... maybe less than 70. i may be off a few, plus or minus 30, but be serious. that was stupid even by your standards nicole.

unfortunately being in a combat zone can be ugly no matter what side you are on. There is no excuse and you are right when you say it does bring back bad memories. I know it is hard for people to believe but those guys probably were not mean like that before they went over there. They were more than likely innocent young men. The circumstances make tend to make a man cold hearted. I know I came back home and my own family told me how mean I had become. That is what made me change. War is a bad thing to go through.

  10. yep... and god help the veterans that are forgotten and left homeless. PTSD is the real deal and many of these guys don't recover. then we have DU..... is the govt still denying the effects on troops from DU? its bad enough these guys were hoodwinked into serving based on lies in the first place, but the way they are treated after they are used up is horrific.

my beef is not with 95% of the servicemen.. it is with the leaders that committed the original "war crime" sin to send them on an illegal invasion.
