Hillary is over there in the heat of battle. Can you imagine the jokes the officers will tell when she leaves? Bill did more damage to the military than most of our enemies....

Hillary is the most ridiculous presidential candidate ever dreamed up by the liberals. The Republicans are so intelligent they self destruct by bringing forth some stiff suit like Romney or some clown like rick perry. John McCain is already being bashed by some dobson.....The so called "tv christians" are not bible based christians at all......they are shallow minded money grubbers......fools that play into the hands of the very devil they abhor, or claim to abhor......they are after money...and power...like jesse jackson......the real Christians must wake up as Hill will take us all down the tubes. They even are trying to resurrect J carter as a good president. He won nobel peace prize. so did yassir arafat...a bonafide terrorist.....go figger...... she is whatever the meaning of is is at the moment....

  6. You said you would fight if we were invaded. Do you think you just get trained in an afternoon and crouch behind an apple crate?

Garrison soldiering is the most boring thing in the world. I know excellent combat soldiers who were utter failures in peacetime. It's the training that's boring, but so necessary. The sting that they represent is a deterrent that keeps most folks intent on doing harm honest.

Come on. Lighten up. You make all sorts of claims with no backing; you couldn't turn a paper in college to the Prof like that. Other people have points of views also, but your anger overwhelms any postitive points you have.

There are things I know about the markets that would curl your hair. You think you know, I know. But I can't just go say, "so and so is a crook" w/o posting proof. I'm not willing to do that - yet. It's coming. And we worked hard. But we can't endanger it just to vent.

"they knew", as evidenced by? "they're nazis" because in August of 2004.............. Then let people make their minds up. You're a very angry man. Curb it, and let your knowledge and intelligence come out. I'd like to hear what you say, but you're shouting in my ear.

Discussion, not percussion please. You're too smart to post like this..

  7. I've seen guys in the past who thought they were unafraid, but once they saw what was involved in war, they could not deal with it. We had a guy in our unit through training, who was with us for a year or so...then suddenly went AWOL and we heard he went to Canada. As you know, our unit was entirely voluntary, so the guy volunteered, then discovered something that made him go AWOL.

Saw the same thing when I arrived in Viet Nam...anther guy who I had been through training with, who balked within a week of arriving in country...at the SFOB in Nha Trang. So it happens.

As I said before, I think this guy reached a point where he found out enough information that he had a change of heart.

You know, it isn't as though everyone doesn't have feelings of fear. The question really is how you deal with it.
