    #16 in Books > Biographies & Memoirs > Professionals & Academics > Business

  2. Denial - a psychological defense mechanism in which confrontation with a personal problem or with reality is avoided by denying the existence of the problem or reality

  3. Most people manage to blow their own horn without sounding like another brass ensemble.

  4. This isn't about me, we all know I have many personal issues...the problem here is the lack of transparency in this business and how that hurts our ability to learn from the experiences of others.

For example, think about how much we know about every single MLB player. We have access to all kinds of stats and we can watch how they perform each day.

Now think about a $100 million company thats trade on the Nasdaq. No publication can talk about it (due to industry regs), we don't know all their stats (due to lack of transparency), we can watch how it trades, but we don't know why it's in play or not (because we don't know what each person trading it knows) and yet millions of people speculate blindly in names like these.

    This must change!

  7. Nope, just like the 150+ pre-release blurbs I got, this reporter loved my book and compared it to 'Reminiscences of a Stock Operator'. Hopefully just the first of many, time will tell.
