I am confused, if the strategy is only scalable up to $20 mil, how can you teach a hell of a lot of people before there is a problem? Seems to me a whole hell of a lot of people will exceed $20 million of investment in your strategy. What is the point of selling a strategy if you can't exploit it for more than $20 million? If you sell your strategy to 1000 people and they are trading with a meager $20K your capacity of your strategy is used up. Therefore your strategy is no good since it isn't scalable at all. I have no problem with you sellingbooks or being paid by realmoney doing write ups or anything else. We are all capitalist and we do what we can to make money. You shouldn't be criticized for making money but people can hold you to accuracy of your comments. Cheers.
Sorry, let me clarify, $10-$20mm in annual profits, maybe more, but this is just my best guess based on current market conditions and shorting ability (Even though I've become a cynical short seller, I preach going long, too, especially in situations like CHNR). Thats why Penny Stocks aren't right for everyone, but given their limited scalability and lack of many bigtime traders, I truly believe its an easier playing field.
So your goal is to teach others a strategy that you can't successfully trade yourself. You might want to rethink your advertising message. You are revealing way too much negative information about yourself that will be saved for posterity on the internet. I honesty think you are wasting alot of time and energy trying to promote yourself on this website. I can hardly imagine its worth the sponsorship fee. People sell stock trading programs all the time. The usual way is to create infomercials and hold free seminars in various cities. Price your entry level program below $100 and sucker a few people into buying the $5000 master program. Thats the tried and true method. And certainly more productive than getting into pissing contests with random internet posters.
Actually I can trade these strategies myself, but it's just not scalable enough to continue to devote my life to. However, not everyone is as spoiled as me and I'm sure there will be quite a few people who will be more than happy to make $50k/year from Penny Stocks I'm going to be 100% open about everything (hence my somewhat damaged reputation), but, in time, it's going to earn me respect, especially when people figure out that I really can teach them to make tens of thousands of dollars off Penny Stocks annually. I might have a $5k mentorship program eventually for people who just have too many questions, but for now this $300 course is a nice easy introduction and its really just so that people can follow my line of thinking once I start blogging like a madman.
The Jack Hershey 'I can't trade but I am here to teach others how to trade'. Ok, I get it. You desire that route? Kinda sad. Soon you will have more than 10000 posts on ET; sitting in front of the computer composing yet another message and waiting for your girlfriend to get off work and fix you dinner. There is a lesson here....
Timothy, I just want to say thank you for this wonderful book. It really opened my eyes up to how difficult day trading is and how emotions can get in the way. Really, do not let these angry people get you down, you are going to help a lot of people, keep up the great work!
..oh no Sykes not another alias....( i know you will deny...) ... Let me answer to "starterjohn" for Timmay: Gee whiz, thanks "starterjohn" for your great support; do not forget my dvd written for naive people just like you....
Wow, that certainly sounds like a 'brutally honest' endorsement!!! So, starterjohn, have you ordered your own DVD and are you planning to trade PennyStocks? Why, or why not, I am wondering? Thank you.
I like to support this message. Tim, you have done the aspiring trading community a great deal of good. It is understanding that with it, you've ticked off a lot of established trading institutions, and traders who had to learn everything the hard way. It takes a lot of courage, selflessness, and a little bit of naivete to have done what you have done. But, the final product is worthy of great admiration. We aspire to be like you (in terms of the amounts you have made) as well as in your selfless giving, and the sheer persistence and courage under fire.
