exactly. not only have i been bleeding on the downside, but the volatility collapse and time decay has been killing me. all considering, the IV of these options makes them relatively cheap. size is the issue here (and i'm attacking it thru options rather than outrights) . luckily my price target isn't too ambitious - 490-500 (that says something of my size here though). not even looking for a breakout.
I feel your pain. The good news is that you should have an answer to this dilemma soon. Should head you way just about now, I would think. Quite a bit of overhead at about 475 though. On the FM I think you may be SOL, though you should be able to better your position. Hoping for the best; you never know, sometimes you get it. I must say in all sincerity I am glad not to be in that trade. Makes Amazon look like a joke, by comparison.
Mostly in Junes, but have some FM that I didn't rollover. yea i know, tell me about it. erosion is the name of this game. Kind of amazing the lack of movement here, when you consider to percentage of stock price per day. And no brokers attempting to stimulate it...
Gotta be a short squeeze or someone knows something. I'll be fucked if someone knows something...have deep in the money leap Puts. I doubt anyone will pay such a high price for this company...their margins are painfully low and if the markets rollover which I suspect they will at some point before Jan 08 when my puts expire, I'll make easy money. Cheers
Yeah, AMZN of all stocks too. It's rough to watch right now, but I'll prosper if this piece of shit isn't bought out at an even higher premium than is already on its head now. It really is 1999 all over again in this stock...their margins are shit and their last earnings were something special, next quarter might see this piggy get knocked off its pedestal.
Yeap 1999 all over again. Too much money chasing too few goods. Chinese Govt has 1.2 trillion to invest remember that. They aquired a $3 bil stake in Blackstone this morning.
