AMZN just smashed 1000 like it wasn't even there. Onwards and upwards towards 1500 by early next year.
As we expected it happened. @lovethetrade Totally agree with you. This target looks achievable for the next year.
The problem is when THEY or powers to be decided to pull the rug...and no suppport no bids. 'suddenly' you guys will be holding illiquid assets that you cannot sell.
I am guessing you are a "new trader". AMZN, GOOG, AAPL etc. have tons of institutional holders and unlike small guys their positions take days if not weeks to unwind thus any seasoned trader will catch onto the unwinding process and "fly the coop" long before they can. If a trader/ investor can not read the distribution signals then they should not be in the market or should trade very, very small or just day trade.
The pension funds or institutional investors 'own' the market, not retail traders or retail investors. retail investors or traders is less than .001% of the 'market' insititutional investors don't sell or buy in the 'open market' either. it's the institutions investors that move the market. even hedge funds don't cannot move the 'market' meaning the index or 'market' that everyone owns in the pension funds. IN downtrend bear market, you have no bids..or bid is like very low ball offers thin in the 'open market'
It's getting interesting, people aren't even surprised watching AMZN and GOOGL above $1000. Like a usual move.
Well, it didn't last long. Looks like both stocks are going to be under $1000 in the coming days. (GOOGL has already done it).
