Hi All, I my AMP application also got rejected last week, with no real explanation. My country is not on the restricted list (I am from South Africa). They ask me for a letter from my employer, which did not make sense. I after reading more into the application process i now understand the justification. @ampglobal. Would be possible to see why my account was rejected? I would be happy to provide any additional information you may require.
I stated that the company I work for is not a Brokerage/Finance/Investment institution, and I asked if they still require a letter. AMP asked for additional information about my employer and did not ask about the employment letter again. I supplied a detailed overview of the company I work for and my position within the company. I sent another email asking if I had missed anything or if they require a letter from my employer.
Something triggered new accounts department to be unable to proceed with the application. Will ask for more details and let you know tomorrow when the new accounts department re-opens after today's US Memorial Holiday.
Here's a hint... See the list of sponsors on this site right below your post? Notice the underline under AMP in the red box? That means my mouse is hovering on that link. Now notice the site it would go to in the very lower-left corner of the pic in the green box? There is your answer.
I also had my application denied could @AMP_Global look into this? I had a very vague answer: "We have decided not to go forward with the business relationship. This is a business decision based purely upon our setup." To shed more light as to why I wanted to trade with AMP was; 1.) I read great reviews about the platform with regards to execution and support. 2.) I was testing some manual and algorithmic strategies with AMP's demo accounts and had great success.
Check your application to see if you wrote anything that is verifiably incorrect. Any typo errors error e.g. date of birth?
