AMP Global Application Requirements

  1. Thank God that is not the issue, they have told me in PM the reason and is in full adherence to law and rules, let's see if I can solve it. Otherwise, I should try day trade the SFX (S&P/TSX 60) in Canada.

  2. Yes, sure, however, they told me it is not the country of nationality, praise the Lord, is another reason, very legitimate.

    Man...consider your situation a gift...there is an extremely high chance that not being able to open an account is going to save you $5,000 that you would have lost trying to trade futures with a pitifully small amount.

    I stand by my statement - if you're not a citizen of Canada, you do not gain all the rights or the duties applicable to a Canadian citizen simply by crossing the border. I'm pretty sure this is not a radical principle unique to Canada.

    You can say that country of residence is more important than country of citizenship, but the world disagrees.

  9. Yes, they do, but the margins are scandalously large, for E-Minis they ask around $USD 7,000 per contract
