Yeah but you have to ask yourself why they are so cheap. I used AMP a year ago and they always lagged on fills and had connection problems with NT and it wasnt NT because I had it connected through another with no problems at the same time. I use NT and T4 through Dorman and Mirus(RCG) and have never had 1 issue with that. Dorman does have NYBOT and ICE stuff. And the owner of the companys son actually communicates with me through emails.Dorman has the new strategy runner plugin thing for T4 I had a look at the demo it is interesting but not for me. I guess it can be cheaper going through an IB of RCG or DORMAN but not cheaper if you will have fill problems due to all there clients trying to get filled at once through the same pipe. Going direct to the source is more expensive but better quality.
Why would there be ANY difference for Ninja/Zenfire between Amp or Mirus ?! Both are IB's for Dorman, you would connect to the same servers...
I'm a low volume trader and was given the following RT all in rate quotes for trading ES: AMP $4.30 Mirus $4.75 Go Futures $4.30 Velocity Futures $3.98 with Ninja Trader and no monthly platform fee. If I were you, I'd talk with someone at AMP, Mirus and Velocity Futures and see if they can offer the services that you want and what price they will quote you given your volume. Here a link for Velocity's rates http://www.velocityfutures.com/commisions.asp?products_id=1&exchanges_id=1&product_category_one=353 With a few phone calls, you should get a broker that meets your needs.
AMP also offers the free version of ninja. The difference between velocity and AMP is that AMP has zen fire and velocity does not. I never tested velocity's data feed, but I imagine its worth the 30 cents to get zen. for my style of trading zen is pretty much essential, actually.
I've been with them a while. I don't push leverage on my trading, so i couldn't tell you their day-trading margins, but I'm sure they are very low. Commissions are $4.40 with no volume required. Call or email them and you'll see why i like them so much.
Mirus daytrade es margin: $500 o/n $3500 ? Pat S. / Mirus is the developer of the Zenfire feed supplying more than a dozen brokers including Amp Mirus provides a realtime Ninja 30 day demo 1 renew
It depends on amount of funds in your account. For example if you had $2000.00(again for example) at $500 daytrading margins you could effectively have 4 emini contracts on at a time.
