In the "Memo" Section of your Chase Transfer Request - Add your AMP account number. If not available, process the Chase Transfer and submit a copy of the transfer to AMP Funds Department for quick processing
I really appreciate that AMP has ACH and it works great for getting my money out. I bank with Chase, and when I try to add a new account so I can do an external ACH transfer I get this message: " We're unable to complete your request. This external account has already been added to your profile or another customer's profile. (Error code: 53004)" 1) The problem is, I believe, Chase Understands that Adding an external account can only be done if that account is mine (I might be wrong here), so I can do ACH in/out. Because AMP actually has an account w Harris Bank, than that account Number/ABA could unavailable for any other person to send ACH transfers to. (Thus the above message) 2) Could I use the BILL PAY option with Chase to try to send you money that way? 3) Are you guys set up to receive transfers from services like Zelle ? (you can still confirm the name of who's transferring it to you) - This would be SOOO much easier, and also free. Thx
@sergioerm 1) please contact AMP Funds Department, they will be best to help you. 2) yes, we receive many BILL PAY checks.. 3) Not currently. we have discussed this with BMO. They say Zelle is currently not available for our clients to use to submit deposits. if this becomes available, we will for sure work diligently to make it available for our customers.
Any updates on the Zelle payment? I'm having the hardest time funding my account. Most brokerages are point and shoot. I have Chase and wiring money every time at $25 makes no sense. For ACH I tried going to my online account: 1) Pay and Transfer 2) Transfer Money When I try to add an account (AMP Global) it says: Important: We're unable to complete your request. This external account has already been added to your profile or another customer's profile. (Error code: 53004) I dont know what to do at this point.....any help would be appreciated.
Why do AMP USA and Global not accept clients from Africa? Even if we don't live in Africa, AMP refuses you my request to open an account because my passport is Senegal. Please review your rules. You provide such great service. There are a lot of trading professionals in Africa. The image of Africa through the media is false. Wealth is not measured in the number of concrete cities
Solution: When adding an external account to your Chase Online you must add 2 zeros to the beginning of the account number that AMP provides, otherwise it will say: Important: We're unable to complete your request. This external account has already been added to your profile or another customer's profile. (Error code: 53004) I am currently still wrapping up the process and waiting for my bank to add the 2 small deposits before my account is fully active. Hopefully this helps someone, because it was pretty damn annoying dealing with all of this.
The problem is nearly all banks only provide you with one routing acct # whereas Amp requires you to enter 2 acct #'s. This problem has me concerned about being able to ACH out of Amp. Anyone have any feedback on this? I can always snail mail them a check - I hate eating the wire fee that banks charge - it's not the cost but the principal of it.
ACH out is reliable and fast. I also tried putting AMP ACH information in my external account, with two zero added to their account number, which worked. In the"description" field, write : For further credit to:my name and account# .
