Mirus/RCG is a pleasure to deal with.

I have just opened an acct with AMP and experienced none of the issues you describe. I'm an Australian citizen and applied for acct before going to bed. On waking following morning email was in Inbox and acct was ready to go. Funds were also deposited with no problem. Was I fortunate or were you unfortunate? Although you may have a legitimate issue with AMP I do find it hard to take an individual with one post to their name too seriously.

Same here and with the NT/Zenfire combo. Very user friendly setup. Took only two days with a wire.

Also, quick response to emailed questions.

  6. Another Mirus and NT vote here. Free ninjatrader if you want to trade the DOM the old fashioned way.

I realize this is an old thread and you probably found a broker by now but imo, no matter what broker you use, RCG clearing is the way to go. I'm with Global through RCG and have never had an issue with either in 5 years.

Recently switched platforms and was thinking of going with Ninja for the static DOM but after trying out RCGs ONYX platform I went with that instead. Comparing Onyx and Ninja side by side I don't see a difference in speed and with Onyx you can keep the DOM static by holding the mouse over it. It also has a web interface for entering orders and I believe their server allows you to keep stop orders on it in case your platform/internet goes down. On top of that I was able to get my comm rate down quite a bit by switching.
