  3. I'd rather be skeptical of the government and wrong then blindly follow and be wrong.

They do want a NAU and they do want an Amero.

  5. Im not sure if anyone else posted this (I did not see it anywhere in this thread), but I think this may be slightly relevant:

"Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.

Fact: The cooperative efforts under the SPP, which can be found in detail at www.spp.gov, seek to make the United States, Canada and Mexico open to legitimate trade and closed to terrorism and crime. It does not change our courts or legislative processes and respects the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of a European Union-like structure or a common currency. The SPP does not attempt to modify our sovereignty or currency or change the American system of government designed by our Founding Fathers."

"a huge NAFTA Super Highway, four football-fields-wide, through the heart of the U.S. along Interstate 35, from the Mexican border at Laredo, Tex., to the Canadian border north of Duluth, Minn."

"NAFTA Super Highway planning that has been going on without any new congressional legislation directly authorizing the construction of the planned international corridor through the center of the country."

This thing for real? Or a conservative scam?

And would you need one of these...

  7. It's just like the EU and the Euro. There is an example of what will happen, just with an easier transition. Nothing bad initially, just open borders, one currency, one trade zone. They are slowly having some issues with the EU treaties overriding national consititutions, but sh*t, who cares about national sovereignty around here? It's obvious most Americans do not, Mexicans certainly never really have and Canadians, well outside Quebec, they really would not care as they depend on USA for economy & culture.

By the way, using SPP website as an argument is a serious lack of critical thinking. What do you expect them to say? I think it is laughable the nonsense they wrote, considering that one of the CFR directors has been on camera twice openly supporting a case for a North American Union.

  8. It's for real, almost every Texan knows about it. Especially those whose property is being seized under eminent domain.

But it got halted by the county residents. Not a smart move tying to do that to Texans, they should have went through New Mexico instead.
