America's Opposition To Obama Heath Care Plan Hits New High of 56%!!!

  1. Americans love a crook. So much so that they'll agree to have their pockets picked and everyone elses.

  2. The disapproval of Obama's plan probably has more to do with the lack of a strong public option. Look at the question about what happens if no reform: a clear majority expect it to get worse.
Those numbers don't mean what you think they mean. The country is well to the left of both Congress and the President.

  3. 1.1 billion dollar golden parachute for United Health Care CEO Bill McGuire after indictment for back dating options.

Please let them increase our premiums so they can donate more to CEO retirements. Let freedom ring in the board rooms of these patriots. Glenn Beck told us its in the Constitution.

A friend of mine sent me this email:

On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment, courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn which would require all Members of Congress and their staff members to enroll in any new government-run health plan.

Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require Congressmen and Senators to take the same health care plan that they would force on us. (Under proposed legislation they are exempt.)

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go to his Website and sign his petition. The process is very simple. I have done just that at:
    http://fleming.house.gov/index.html <http://fleming.house.gov/index.html> .
Please urge as many people as you can to do the same!

If Congress forces a "health care plan" on us, they should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.

  5. For asking why your insurance rates increase, you can be arrested

Joe Szakos leads the Virginia Organizing Project, an almost fifteen year-old community organization that Health Care for America Now works with in Virginia to organize for health care reform. Szakos's organization employs dozens of people, and they get their health care through Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

This year, Szakos was informed that Anthem was going to increase the premiums on Virginia Organizing Project's health plan by 14.1%.

Szakos immediately had some questions for Anthem. Chief among them, why is Anthem using its resources to lobby against health care reform with a public health insurance option while at the same time increasing rates by 14.1%?

    ------------

American capitalism at its finest. Lobby against reform while at the same time raise the fees. This is almost as good as the "Privatize the profits, socialize the losses" that is an ongoing game in the financial system.

Again, I love how the libertards spin this issue and try to show that America favors their viewpoint, which they clearly do not.
Why don't you look at the poll numbers that show the majority of America clearly favors health reform, however, they know a disastrous health bill when they see one. America does want health reform, but a bill that won't tax everyone to death, and force people off their current coverage and into a Government run plan, which is what Obama wants. The poll numbers that show America is against this particular bill mainly because the people don't trust Obama. He lies to everyone saying that if you like your current coverage, then you can keep it. This is simply not true. Say for example a Government run option is in place, and your employer decides to stop providing the funding for your private insurer because the Gov't. insurance would be cheaper. Your employer would simply pay the small penalty for dropping your current coverage, and then you would be forced into the Gov't run plan. Obama is a lying piece of shit when he tells you otherwise. He's done such a shit job with all of his idiotic prime time press conferences/town halls, and other Nazi follower gatherings, that the majority of America has lost all faith and trust in him.
Even if they abandon the Govt. run option, in the Baucus plan there is a tax on health insurance premiums that is to finance about a quarter of the subsidy for the uninsured. This tax, billed as only to be levied on "gold plated" policies, will, in fact, reach down to the average American. The Baucus bill specifies that the tax of 35% would be put on all premiums over $8000 for an individual and on proportionately higher premiums for families. Current estimates are that about one-tenth of the current health insurance policies would be taxable. But the $8000 premium level that will trigger coverage "IS NOT INDEXED FOR INFLATION, LET ALONE MEDICAL INFLATION, WHICH TYPICALLY RUNS TWICE AS HIGH." ObamaCare would take effect in 2013. By then, the percentage of Americans subject to the tax will dramatically expand, as this trigger is a new Alternative Minimum Tax waiting to happen. As inflation pushes more and more Americans into tax eligibility, it will become a "UNIVERSAL HEALTH INSURANCE EXCISE TAX OF 35%." While the tax will be imposed on health insurers and employers, it will obviously be passed along to the policy holders.
So if you are insured, you will increasingly have to pay 35% more for the privilege. And if you are uninsured, you will have to pay one-fifth of your income in premiums, deductibles, and co-payments before any subsidy kicks in.
It's no surprise why Obama's health care news conferences, town halls, and addresses to the nation have provide no "specific" details on how much this health care legislation will ruin America. If he actually told the truth about how bad this health bill was, the polls would show 100% against it. America wants health reform, but this entire process needs to be done over, starting with an actual bill that makes sense, and that won't bankrupt the country and it's citizens. :D

  9. If we just got rid of all doctors, this bill could probably pass.

  10. I could go into detail but that's a waste of time down here. Suffice to say that the current health insurance scam (because that's what it is) will bankrupt the country in a far more thorough manner.
