  1. Would be nice. But its a fantaZy....

The deductions exist. And i`m sure the recipients could care less if the benefactor is getting a break.

  2. The benefactors don't care, but to portray the US giving as some form of an altruistic mindset is a sham.

You find out real altruism when there is no personal gain...

We continue to have American citizens born who do not get proper food, shelter, and clothing...and that is the reality of our altruism..

  4. how many of those "charity" amounts are simply a dodge to invest tax-free into highly politicized organizations, eg the dominionist jerry falwell liberty "university", the discovery "institute" - those are 2 i became aware of only recently - and all this sort of crap? anybody has an idea?

  5. No, another drunken expat Brit with a hardon for America (and everyplace else, really).

"I hate you and I hang around this Yankee chatboard by accident." :D It's sort of like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction - "I'm not just going to be ignored...."

  7. Ah-ha-ha, so you admit you're a Brit....

It's obvious you're a Brit - the incessant finger-pointing lectures, the white-hot self righteousness. It's the same tone found at The Guardian, The Independent and the BBC - and it's the same tone that nurtures your car bombing nuts that try to blow up your airports while screaming, "Allah!!!!"

  9. I'm disappointed. I was hoping for a prolonged, sputtering "ameri-cons suck" tirade.
