People who think that way can stop driving or go drive off a cliff if they think it will help. Or move somewhere like N. Korea, since we're still a free country, and people are free to drive on roads even if some would-be tyrant idiot says they shouldn't.

Demand destruction is not the way to lower gas prices. Drill baby drill is.

Commuting has a cost that is not included in the way most people calculate their salary or hourly wage. Scam may not be the best word, but waste of your valuable life time is absolutely a correct way to look at it. The average amount of time spent commuting in America is around an hour per day.

Otherwise, you have been scammed by false information. Green energy is a great investment and is becoming cheaper to implement than oil/gas. There are hundreds of existing oil/gas leases in America that have not been used, and the part of the keystone pipeline that is on hold would benefit Asian markets and not American markets. The other part of the Keystone pipeline is fully functioning and not banned.

Wrong, wrong and wrong. This reads like a bad summary of a terrible fact-checking article. The "existing oil and gas leases" is one of this fake administration's hundreds of lies. Oil and other energy prices have soared ever since Obiden took office--long before Russia-Ukraine.

    Biden Gas 2.png

Speculators and hedgers in the futures markets bid up prices right away, as they're much more intelligent than programmed people who buy into awful, sophist arguments about how more drilling/production won't lead to more energy. In addition, things like this are happening behind the scenes all of the time. And they've refused to approve leases in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico.

"Green energy" is largely a scam. Most of it is decades away from meeting large-scale energy needs. Trying to force it on the economy by killing domestic energy production is tantamount to terrorism. Obama promised the same kind of fairy dust solutions 15 years ago, and we ended up with Solyndra and other money-wasting, fraudulent schemes. Have you taken a look at the environmental impact of lithium mining? And you do realize EVs simply store energy from so-called fossil fuels, right? The projection of you accusing me of being "scammed with false information" would be comedy gold if the stakes weren't so high. Stakes such as the owner of a trucker company below notes. I don't know if it's as dire as he predicts, but it could be. I also don't know if it's intentional, but food and energy have been certainly been weaponized before (Mao, Holodomor, etc.).

I own a small trucking company, and this is what the fuel crisis is doing to our country… Today I filled up my truck to deliver products that help keep our country fed. When I filled up my truck, it cost me $1,149.50. This is ONE truck, for ONE day of fuel. I own three. So for one day of operation, it’s costing me $3,448.50. (Yes, we use a full tank of fuel every single day, sometimes more than 1 tank per day).

My trucks generally run 5-6 days a week, so we’ll just estimate on the low side and say five. That’s $17,242.50. Last week was over $20k for ONE week, that I have to pay out of my pocket to try and keep not only my children fed, but those of my employees, and our country.

Mark my words, we are on a downhill slide to the worst recession our country has ever seen. Trucking companies are going under left and right. (Literally hundreds weekly.) If you’re not aware, what you’re wearing, what you’re eating, what you’re living in, what you’re driving, what you’re reading this on, was delivered by a truck.

If something drastic doesn’t change in the next few weeks/months, I promise you, you’ll see empty shelves everywhere you look. You’ll see chaos as people fight for the basic necessities of everyday life. Food, medicine, etc…

Shrug... it's hard for me to point out facts to those who have strong belief systems. What I wrote is easily confirmed if you decide to open your mind.

  8. There used to be this business man in power, just before the current President who suffers from dementia but is still running the show. I remember that former man was planning to keep cheap oil for America and less dependency on other unfriendly nations.

As mentioned elsewhere, we are not allowed to mention his name anymore. He's been cancel-cultured for crimes of offending the Chinese. Even family, friends, business partners, even suspect groups who MAY be affiliated with him are banned from social media.

We may be losing jobs all over America, and have a starvation pandemic coming, and hell is coming, but it seems that is a small price to pay for political correctness.

  9. Preach on that one.

Honestly I’m about done with this forum. It totally fine to not like crypto, in fact I’m not a fan of the vast majority of crypto projects out there.

But some people, Jack being prob the worst, bring nothing to the table. Nothing. No reason for their hate other than “I don’t understand this, it’s a scam”

But has he honestly tried? Have they read the bitcoin white paper or any bitcoin book? Have they tried to see why people are so excited? No

Then it quickly devolves to “tell me why bitcoin is valuable/ not a ponzi etc”. But think about that. How lazy is that. So you do no research, have a closed and made up mind, and now it’s on me to explain it to your old ass to your satisfaction. Take a hike.

no way they are good traders either. I know bc a good trader will put their ego/bias aside when the market clearly tell them they are wrong. So bitcoin went from a free, anonymous white paper ( basically just an idea) to a 600BB asset (and that’s after the sell off) in 12 years. It’s one of the greatest performers and wealth creators of all time. And you want me to explain to you why it has value? WAKE THE FUCK UP
