Horse and buggy then? Never has an ET member projected pure oldness as you do. They say 70 is the new 50 but if you aren't 85 fucking years old I'm going to be shocked. I'm a bit quick to block people but I'm pretty sure at this point you add ZERO value to any discussion of crypto. Btw, the guy you have focused on took profits, paid off his home, secured his family and kept about 50% on the table. What, exactly what skin do you have in the game? STFU.
It's also minted a fuckton of millionaires in very short order. So, yeah, it's high-risk, but very high reward if you nail it. I've lost to some scammy stuff, but I'm net much higher profit than in the tradfi markets.
The $65 billion includes the fake profits. Direct investors lost around $18 billion, of which over 80% was eventually recovered.
My wife and I have spent under $500 on gas over the last 6 months (including mower gas) due to my wife's 3 minute commute and my working from home as a freelancer. But the time saved is priceless. Commuting is a kind of self-imposed scam; but irregardless, Cryptos and NFTs are a much bigger scam.
Commuting isn't a scam. Green energy, banning pipelines and refusing to renew oil/gas/nuclear leases is a full-blown scam, though, if not domestic terrorism.
