Explain to me why you feel that listing a minimum income requirement is such a problem. I'm sure you have minimum requirements for any woman you would want to date, so what's the difference?

  3. I'll try

latter part first = my requirements for any woman I want to date:

I don't care about Education level, income level, what car she drives, how much money she has in the bank, whether she has a job or not - a reasonably attractive girl with a nice smile and warm eyes for me = that's it.

  4. the first part: listing a minimum income requirement is a giant turn-off - I would ignore women like this in a heartbeat. It hits me where the sun don't shine and I lose any interest rapidly. Its mercenary and disgusts me

  5. When I was dating American women in the 1980's there was NEVER any of this crap about money - neither they nor I cared about money, fancy car, fancy house, all bollox. All thru' the 1980s to the early 1990s, that's when things started to change and rapidly.

Now its a totally different planet, hardly recognizeable.

Ok, so if you think that a woman's requirement that her man make a certain level of income is inappropriate, tell me what qualities in a man she SHOULD REALLY be looking for? In other words, what qualities would you say are totally fine for her to put on her Match.com profile?

  8. Then on the first date it will be discovered rapidly if there's CHEMISTRY. If no, it dies there, a good hop in the sack notwithstanding. If yes, there is considerable room to have a glorious time together and there's no telling how far it could go.

You will notice that job description, money in the bank, biggggg house, fancy car does not even need to be there. CHEMISTRY blows all these bullshit factors right out the window.

Sometimes a fella just can't get enough of just touching the girl on her arms and hands and noticing the silky smooth softness and recognizing within himself this is the most beautiful feeling he's had in a while.

In that ogonblick, Money, job, car, wealth\right-click\sendto\garbage dump.

The MAN is indeed a supremely simple fella - and so is the WOMAN

Now they've got something to grow on.

  9. In the 1980s before the Feminist movement had really gotten hold of the masses of women, American women were really down to earth, open, uncaring about whether the fella had big bucks bla bla - if they liked you + chemistry = that's it

I was off to Florida once but had just met a super sexy American girl on the jogging track in Hollywood at 11:00 PM. We hit it off and I invited her for a drink to the Grinder on Sunset blvd - after an hour or so, I said, "gotta go, flight early tomorrow morning" - she got up and came to my side and said, "I don't want you to go, I want you to stay here and be with me" Money, job, bla bla had not even come up.

I ended up marrying this girl - lasted 2 years - a knockout she was.

Money? As long as the bills were getting paid, we didn't give a damn

The problem with bringing these gals to America is similar to Eddie Murphy describing a lovely African gal he "brought here" who American women ruined in fifteen minutes flat. "Eddie!! I be thinking bout things now. I want HALF! Give me half Eddie!"
I would laugh, but it's not a laughing matter after "giving" my ex a paid for house, newer paid for Lexus, ongoing health insurance monthly payments, etc., No, it's not funny at all. If anyone sees me with a gal in a wedding dress, I'm absolutely holding her for the cops! Lol
    Never, EVER again!! Ever!!!!
