This is insane and scary. People are too stupid to realize how doomed they are. They'll gladly say 'yes please' and take it up the ass.
Meanwhile, the liberal media lies continues. So much for China is to be emulated BS! https://www.yahoo.com/news/wuhan-residents-dismiss-official-coronavirus-164859600.html
I personally believe that these estimates are high. They said their modeling relied heavily on data from New York & New Jersey, and these are the numbers we'll see if other major metropolitan areas become hot spots like NYC. But NYC has the highest population density in the country. I'm not sure we'll see the same level of spread elsewhere. I sure hope I'm right. The next few weeks could be really ugly if I'm not.
I also believe the estimates are waaaaay high to think we will go from 3,000 to 100,000 WHILE we are sheltering in place and people are getting tested to receive medical attention sooner. Next 2 weeks will see a spike in death rates for sure but we may hit 5,000 - 7,000 since lot of people right now are on ventilators or in ICU but the new cases will slow if people stay distanced.
I don't have any trouble seeing how we could reach at least 100K although I dont see it as the big hit on Trump that the dems are salivating for. Just a couple years ago, we lost 60,000 from just a regular seasonal flu and not many people even batted an eye. And there were not all these hyped up comparisons to how that was more than we lost on 9/11 and Viet Nam and all of that. So if we can lose 60,000 on a bad seasonal flu year, how hard is it to think that we could lose 100k plus in the current situation. The binary thinkers here will hear me saying we will reach that number. I did not say that at all. I am just pointing out that a lot of people are not hysterical about what the numbers could be but nevertheless think that it is going to be worse than a bad flu year. Okay. A bad flu year of late was 60,000. What does "worse" look like then? Also, it has not been established yet that covid cycles seasonally as the flu does so covid has/might have the ability to go into "overtime" through the warm months in order to get higher numbers than the flu. So we got 60,000 from a flu season that lasted only five months or so compared to potential numbers from a virus that may not be limited to the flu season. I am still a believer that seasonality will have some effect on it but I hesitate to say that because of the binary thinkers here who will then quote me next week as saying that it will go away when the flu season ends. I did not say that. I said it will have some effect. If that is only 20% well then that could help. The Spanish Flu actually flourished in the summer as well as the winter. So we dont know.
Lets... put it out there right now... As Americans you leftists sons of bitches better say there is no fricken way Orange Man Bad and friends are putting a digital tattoo in any american. And we better say it when a lefty gets elected to.. We need all Americans to stand up for freedom on that issue. We are not going to be chipped, tracked and controlled. That is not a left or right issue.

Could the chip idea be for desperate refugees etc in Africa who simply cannot carry around papers and ID? You know, at least some way to help save their lives and provide services more effectively? Maybe nothing to do with developed countries at all? I have not looked, I just think that might be it.
We are willing to make this sacrifice because we are the last of the great generations who built this country. Who do you think brought you civil rights, voting rights, equal opportunity, workplace safety, environmental controls, etc.? Who was out there in the streets during the sixties and seventies demanding these things? It was the boomer. Yes we made mistakes, yes many became pussified as they aged, yes many became part of the establishment they so hated, yes we fucked up the educational system with radical leftism, yes we fucked up the financial system with too much deregulation and on and on, but we did these things wanting the best for future generations. What most of us know is that none of us in such small numbers is worth sacrificing tens of millions to a world of poverty and despair. We would like to leave them with the same opportunities we had to do some good, make their mistakes as we did, but do it free and prosperous which will be impossible if we stay on the current path.
